Found it fascinating to see Chiesa come in as a striker today. I think this is the first season we have world class depth up front. Even when we had prime Mane-Firmino-Salah, we had mediocre players behind them, giving us very few options off the bench. Now, if a player is having a bad game or needs rest, we have three dangerous forwards at our disposal on the bench. I think we’ll need a midfielder in January or next summer. Gravenberch and Macca have been exceptional, but we could still do with one more to supplement them. I reckon we’ll go back in for Zubimendi. I hope Bajcetic has a great season and comes back ready to compete, as well.

Elliot's a natural fit, but Szobo would looks more comfortable in the attacking third. Mac suits Slot's 8/10 better than Szobo because Macca's a better tackler and presser. He carried Brighton and won a World Cup with Argentina playing as a 10 and long term Gravenberch needs a more defence-orientated partner in the 6 (Guimaraes or Zubimendi profile) I have full confidence in Szobo's ability and form, but - Slot is gonna concede a lot of goals playing the way he does. We need to think about how we can improve our future midfield.
