It was about to happen. You can't expect wins every time. Arne Slot subbed off the players who could have made great chances or even lead to a goal. He has to do something about it anyway can't blame it. It's only his first loss at Liverpool and we have AC Milan in UCL in 3 days so it would be fair if we drop points and focus on the Champions League. Only few mistakes Arne Slot should be blamed for are putting Trent in midfield alongside Gravenberch, putting Darwin in and taking out Robertson and Konate for Tsimikas and Curtis..? Could have subbed in Endo but not every time things go as we expect. It wasn't our day today. Hopefully Arne Slot and the players have been taught a lesson from this loss and improve from now on. Don't forget we are early into the season and that is Arne's first season at Liverpool.

No, he's not been the classic 6 like Rodri or prime Fabinho. He's a defensive 8 in the pivot, but fits exactly what Arne wants, someone strong who can protect the ball very well and is able to release the ball for the forward line. He will thrive in this position should he perform consistently the way he did the first 3 games. Absolute monster

Carabao and FA cups are pretty much done for us already. Won't risk the main squad and we'll just throw a bunch of kids at those. Gravy Endo Morton Isn’t gonna win you the league. Liverpool should’ve gotten a 6, but somehow i see 90% of the fans defending the board and decisions. Gravenberch (can) play at 6, but isn’t a natural 6, and will not be. Endo also isn’t worldclass, Morton is a good prospect, for being a sub at Liverpool. They should’ve instantly try and find a replacement for Zubimendi, instead they signed a goalkeeper (one that is very good btw), but he was certainly not a priority

Well our policy is stupid and its been proven countless times that it doesnt work. Unless everything about a deal is on our terms we dont bother. You cant seriously expect me to believe that ONLY zubimendi in the whole world could start for us at dm i just dont believe it. The players we currently have that can play at 6 Gravy Endo Morton I did say gravy has immense potential but not to play as a 6 and certainly i never said hes good enough now to start for the whole season for us, even if he is what if he gets injured? Endo is clearly not rated by the new coach man preferred playing a 17yo over him in friendlies and finally morton doesnt seem to be rated as well since until very recently we wanted to sell him. Now for the cb situation we have VVD cool hes world class BUT hes aging and also we still havent renewed him despite him being our captain. Konate is very good and seems to have rediscovered his old form but we all know how injury prone he is. Quansah is an excellent talent but can we really rely on him to start for a whole season? No we cant. Then its gomez whos been a disaster everytime he starts at cb and has put a few decent perfomances at lb and rb. Gomez wouldnt start for any top 6 club and he'd hardly make the bench for both Arsenal and City. Robertson also clearly isnt suited to Slot's new system so many along with myself expected us to sign a left footed cb/lb hybrid we didnt do anything though. All this will come back to haunt us during the season i know it will because its happened 4 seasons in a row.
