An Average Guy

avatar
Diaz was not the same player last season, and not in a good way. No one would have wanted him gone if he was playing like this.
avatar
Diaz took those Gordon rumours to heart and is going full saiyan, and Gordon has been sub par since then, worked out okay for us
avatar
I literally said: "Not trying to start a riot here", just stating something that has been regular for some time. I know that we are playing better, that has absolutely nothing to do with my point
avatar
Why we always concede in the first 6 minutes? It has been a thing since Klopp's days and we simply can't handle the initial pressure from the opponent. We changed the manager, change some players, but we still look extra shaky in the start.. the only constant in all of this is our defensive leader Van Dijk. Not trying to start a riot here, but he should make sure that everyone is clicked in, after all he is also our captain.
avatar
This version of Diaz was nowhere to be seen the last 2 seasons, so a supposed 80m for him would've been excellent. Good he stayed and we have 2 competent LWs
avatar
Hate how we go up and all the sudden we forget how to play the sport.
avatar
Slot not looking happy. And rightfully so
avatar
Should've scored 6 or 7 this game to boost our GA. Wasted opportunity

Same man 😭

Accurate statement about your club Vasco da Gama

I swear, Milan were losing 3-1 putting a shocking display but their supporters were amazing through the whole match. English "supporters" are so quiet that even our library (in bad games) is considered the best among them. Here in Brazil when the team which I'm a fan starts playing badly, the supporters SUPPORT and sings even louder to motivate the team. The criticism only comes afterwards the game

We signed him after he had a statistically exceptional season for Benfica, but when you actually look at a compilation of those goals, you'll find there's a good amount of luck associated with them. Few of them were composed finishes, just chances he snatched at like he does now with the main difference being that they were hitting the back of the net then. It's concerning that he hasn't improved in that aspect ever since he's arrived and I feel he'll always have erratic finishing. Is he a bad player? Probably not. But I feel like it might be better for him to try his luck elsewhere.
avatar
I'm sure Darwin can have a successful career, just not at Liverpool. I could see him thrive in Italy or Spain, or at least be better there than in England.
avatar
Somewhere in the middle, he’s been decent in my eyes but for the high expectations means decent is not good
avatar
Yamal is just ridiculous. Can’t say it enough. Absolutely mental doing what he does at 17.
avatar
Bajcetic and Clark both in the starting line up for Salzburg against Sparta Prague
avatar
nah this guy is definitely a hidden liverpool fan i mean how can you be so obsessed 😭 https://s3a.sofifa.net/bced820ef803cb15b8d695104e3c8c36151bf0d4.png https://s3a.sofifa.net/eecb2c0cd02702669058ced8c79f9103b61664ad.png

Inter and City both dropped 2 points against each other today. Good for us. PSG unfortunately managed to grab a win in injury time.
avatar
Liverpool are the ones who argue over 5 million who has kept Nat Phillips employed for 6 years, We're slow to sell and cheap as fuck
avatar
If only he could score like Zlatan he'd be one of the best strikers in the world
avatar
https://s3a.sofifa.net/d3a28147f8ce0204fc15cbd20d7b65f640ad038e.jpg Going to tell the kids this is Zlatan. He looks fitting on that kit though
avatar
He's way better than Rashford. Rare poor performance cause he is one lethal motherfucker for Portugal and whenever he doesn't play Liverpool
avatar
He has to be, the world class LW market has never been shorter
avatar
Ibou was amazing, by the way. He’s had an incredible season so far.
avatar
4-5 Milan Jerseys around Van Dijk for the second, shocking defending.
avatar
konaté is playing fantastic again, let's hope he doesn't get injured🤞
avatar
Getting extremely tired of Szoboszlai, guy is a horrendous passer
avatar
Milan is extremely poor, Paulo Fonseca is not a good manager
avatar
Gakpo absolutely cooking today btw
avatar
Who the fuck said he can’t play LW for Liverpool yesterday or the day before? Own up
avatar
Don’t wanna be that guy, but we need a number 9
avatar
Get Jota out of the fucking lineup. He always starts the season poorly, he only comes good around November time, start Nunez or play Gakpo as an actual pure number nine, not a false nine like Ljinders insisted Klopp do
avatar
Shit bait kid
avatar
That black kit looks great
avatar
Szoboszlai really needs to improve his short passing game in quick combinations in the final third. Way too improbable for a 10.
avatar
another L for zubibitch 😂
avatar
Morton to dominate in the second half
avatar
The Englishman having worse grammar and spelling than the foreigner is the embarassing part here, friend. Off you pop.
avatar
You're here, which means the page is already running at spastic capacity.
avatar
I made no mention of zubby dooby doo in my said comment 🤐
avatar
Didn’t read but great user name
avatar
Microanalysis on Darwin when he’s played 62 minutes in games that are already done or where he hasn’t had any service. Meanwhile Jota gets a free pass when he’s missed 3 big chances already and doesn’t offer much in hold-up play either.
avatar
It’s not Arne Slot’s fault that our players can’t execute the final pass, his subs were bad though.

Only time we had control and pinned then down was from minute 30-45. I agree that Trent can’t play in midfield but we never had proper control before he played there. Someone like Zubimendi raises the level but we have to firm it until we get someone of that mould in.
avatar
That's the problem, he doesn't work as a striker either, I don't think he will reach the potential that was expected of him, but he is a good player, nothing special
avatar
Regardless of the result and handicapped decision making up front, Gravy was solid
avatar
With the news getting out that we will likely use an Adidas Trefoil logo on our next kits, I improved the Home and Away jerseys in retro fashion. Here’s what I made. Taking inspiration from our 85-86 home jersey: https://s3a.sofifa.net/ab11f573e11311ad57cb78e72aa31ca8edd1f50e.jpg Taking inspiration from our 93-95 away jersey: https://s3a.sofifa.net/b03a42ca6a7340db81f8a9843d463645ab801e12.jpg

How dare a manager be confident! But yes, dutch people are generally very blunt (no pun intended) and it may not be some people's cup of tea. I don't mind it, and I think he's providing surface-level insight that is great for a fan not having to listen to overly media-trained answers.
avatar
Might be an unpopular take because I like Slot, but I’m not a fan of how much he goes into tactics with the press and pundits. He sometimes comes across as a tad arrogant, calls out specific player mistakes, and provides information that, while nice to get as a fan, seems unnecessary to share as a manager. Am I the only one who thinks this at the moment?
avatar
I swear Dumfries might be the biggest cult hero in a while for The Netherlands. Definitely one of my most favorite players
avatar
Mamardashvili is better and was an unique market opportunity, it simple as that
avatar
It usually doesn't work because you never get momentum. Real tried too with navas and courtois. I can't remember it has ever worked
avatar
It’s not disrespectful towards Kelleher to buy the best shot-stopper in Europe’s top 4 leagues in the 23/24 season according to statistics 👍
avatar
He'll play but not much. He's basically on the Milner role now.
avatar
No, he's not been the classic 6 like Rodri or prime Fabinho. He's a defensive 8 in the pivot, but fits exactly what Arne wants, someone strong who can protect the ball very well and is able to release the ball for the forward line. He will thrive in this position should he perform consistently the way he did the first 3 games. Absolute monster
avatar
I recon if Owen Beck hits the ground running at Blackburn Rovers this season we should try sell Tsimikas in January so we have an excuse to bring him home.
