An Average Guy

To think Atalanta won the UEL because Nunez couldn't bury THAT chance
avatar
Never wanted Xabi anyway. Fraudulent manager.
avatar
Gives me hope for Dortmund

great video explaining Slot's set up and the different roles in his Feyenoord team I'm really curious how/if he will try to implement the same system here. Trent inverting from left back with Bradley as an overlapping right back could be exciting (but also very risky). Big concern would be Endo in the Wieffer role for me, as much as I like him, he really isn't the most press resistant DM. Maybe Gravenberch could be developed into that role? Salah as an inside forward again and Diaz providing the width on the left sounds nice, I'm curious what the plan for Gakpo will be. https://youtu.be/_IyMEUDb6AY?si=9dGTJW0g2V4sjXTG

poch was finally giving stability to chelsea and poch leaves i swear that club is not serious i cant wait for another banter season 😭.
avatar
I need the same dopamine I had from Fabinho signing
avatar
I'm just here to pay my tribute to the klopp gonna miss him not only as coach but as a great human personality too Good luck next season
avatar
Quansah, Gomez, and Jones are in the England preliminary squad. No Harvey.
avatar
Southgate has finally dunked on Henderson Shame he didn’t have the balls to do it to Maguire and Trippier too
avatar
Your biggest ever player had to beg to leave your club because he knew you lot are too much of a banter club with no hopes for trophies
avatar
Despiste the rivalry that was exclusive to the pitch, you are one of the best managers I've ever seen. May God bless your journey!!

Interesting self-awareness from an Arsenal fan.

I'm in my late 20's and I don't know if we'll ever have another manager like Klopp. Of course, he represents all Liverpool supporters, but for anyone around my age, he is truly our guy. Since he's been leading this club I've watched my first major Liverpool trophy, been to my first in-person Liverpool game (preseason in NYC), went to my first Anfield game on new years day this year with my parents (also Liverpool supporters) and my now fiancee, and have had countless other memories with family, friends, and strangers because of what he created at the club. More than anything else, I will miss his guidance, wisdom, character, and integrity. He is a unique individual in the world who is able to help people transcend their circumstances and see what is real and important about this life that we are all blessed to have; love, passion, growth, struggle, failure, stories, experiences, connection. I'm just damn proud to be a Liverpool supporter and thankful to have had this experience with him over the last 9 years.
avatar
I'm getting married in August. I met my soon to be wife in May 2015 and Jurgen joined Liverpool in October 2015. My life has changed massively for the better in those 9 years. He will always be a legend of this club and in our memories! Danke Jurgen

Since it looks like you can’t count let me help you out with this. Don’t care what other fans think Jurgen has done a tremendous job and Spurs would die to have a manager like that and the way he won those trophies. https://s3a.sofifa.net/2edbbe4ecbba04f5a01889a9b6df97b877baba29.jpg

Klopp starting a new song about Arne Slot 😂

It feels so weird, I am not as emotional as I thought I would be. I guess part of me is already at peace with it, and the other does not fully realize that this is truly the last time I see Jurgen on the pitch with us
avatar
I will miss him. https://s3a.sofifa.net/dbaf564712ed5a552bce55117f67696ba3e2e788.jpg

I've listened to them n all, he sounds free doesn't he? Wouldn't be surprised to see him come back in the future.
avatar
Btw., can highly recommend Klopp's interviews (RedmenTV, the Anfield Wrap etc.) He is giving away A LOT of information. For example, he explicitly said that Funes Mori's tackle changed Origi's career. I mean we all know that, but atm Klopp shares a lot of insight that he did not use to say before

Big Jimmy Milner extending his contract. Man really is going to keep going until the legal pensionable age.
avatar
Gerrard could stay fit for a whole season, let along 10 games. Nice comparison. You can see yourself out now.
avatar
Before the start of the season, I'd give it an 8/10. Now it feels more like a 6. Overall, I'd give it a solid 7/10. We should not underestimate how many changes were made, how many injuries we suffered from, the fact that Jurgen and the whole management are leaving, and, yeah, a good few games where the referees were just horrible. What makes the mark worse is mainly that I absolutely despise some of the performances. Sorry to be the negative one again, but what we played had nothing to do with football I expect from Liverpool at times. Not that I expect to win the league every year, but I do expect to play one of the most entertaining footballs. In so many moments, we were just incredibly dull, even from our star players or very expensive players. I hope that changes soon.
avatar
ideal club for him. Far from the best league but few interesting teams/particular players, ideal place to grow. Red Bull chain will suit his football philosophy (IK esp. Germans hate the plastic nature, but they simply do a great job). Who knows, perhaps this sort of connection will help LFC in a way.
avatar
you're so pathetic, it's not hate you feel anymore it's more obsession get a life you're pathetic mate.
avatar
How have one of your biggest rivals lost the league and your first thought is to come here? 🤣 Also, not sure where you've got 10 years from. 8 and a half
avatar
Just a reminder that Liverpool never begged their rivals on their title run against City. That's the difference between a real big club with a pretend "big club" like Arsenal.

Imagine Slot wins a major trophy before Arteta 👀
avatar
also spent 100+ mil for the past three seasons. they should be called bottlers tbh
avatar
May the best team win
avatar
In all honesty, I don’t care, lol.
avatar
What a surprise, I'm wrong again 😅
avatar
Didn’t even have Gundogan juju this year.
avatar
This is what Manchester City do. They give you hope and rise you up to the skies, than throw you right on the ground. Been there, done that
avatar
The things I’d do to have a 25+ goal a season striker like Haaland… Yes, he’s a limited player, but he knows how to find the back of the net. Jota is the closest thing we have to that player, and we are having to pray he stays fit every match. In all honestly, Jota could easily stay fit a couple more months every season if he stopped flying into every challenge. I like his tenacity, but so many of his injuries are picked up from throwing himself into dangerous situations. Maybe Arne will realize that, and tell him to be more cautious.
avatar
Bet those 2 are ecstatic right now
avatar
Arsenal trophyless again but they do good celebrations https://s3a.sofifa.net/04fcd8c6387931210921449c3708fe33c7671297.gif
avatar
I'm honestly so tired of the narrative that TAA needs to invert, to play in a double pivot, etc, etc I always felt like he's Beckham's regen - he's a wide playmaker and his distribution there is far more effective with crosses on the mix
avatar
i sometimes feel sorry for Chelsea fans and Chelsea players, then I see comparisons like this and I dont feel sorry anymore. The level of delusion when 100mil player starts putting 7/10 performances and when Chelsea got two scrappy wins in a row is crazy

Don’t forget “mr comment” and something to do with “craven”.
avatar
Originally then God knows. Another one is “This Is Anfield” and more recently “Michuis”
avatar
Was he not originally called Anfield Roar or something like Southgate is Crap?
avatar
I like how Macca commented on his mistake on instagram. It was a silly mistake but exactly this reaction assures me that he is a leader who does not hide away from it, takes personal responsibility and improves himself. He had a phenomenal season and finally is a player that even exceeded expectations and made the price tag an absolute bargain.
avatar
I just dont see Villa being tragic and Jurgen leaving as a reason to put on a happy face and pretend that we are good. Seeing the same problems again and again just builds up the frustration in me and the others.
avatar
First a Bayern fan now a Chelsea fan, you really took it so personal that nobody here likes you that you're chatting shit about the team you support and pretending you don't so you can get some attention 😭
avatar
like how can anyone blame us for being negative when we are winning, when we play like this. This is just a consequence, not like we changed to the worse or anything. people will say Nunez unlucky Villa got lucky but this is purely our own incompetence, and call me out for whining i dont care
avatar
Gomez might be the most stupid footballer Ive ever seen. And ive seen darwin nunez.
avatar
That and also if Jota stayed fit. Everytime Salah comes back from AFCON he’s poor.
avatar
26 goals in bundesliga is top? even werner looked like klose regen, muani was always a decent player nothing special.
avatar
I can’t believe it: My boyhood team,Mainz 05 beat Dortmund 3:0 today. Sepp van den berg with a phenomenal performance. Again. I love this team ❤️😀

Nope i Hope Luton stay up
