Gets so much unfair criticism! We are used to Hakimi, Cancelo, and before that Maicon down the right flank, so when the RWB is not technically excellent people get irritated. But, if you judge him compared to expectations when he got here, compared to the rest of the team, and compared to other RBs/RWBs, he has been great for us. Unique, all round player with many qualities that most others lack, professional, who comes in clutch in big moments as well.

Before all inter fans unleash their anger at him, lets rethink what happened. Skriniar was the best Inter player for the last two seasons, and had many offers in the last two years. Yet our unprofessional management didn't initiate any renewal talks and waited until he entered his last season in his contract, because they are cheap-asses who wanted to save on the signing bonus till the last minute. During the summer transfer window we got 50m+ offer for a player who has 1 year left in his contract. What did we do? Refuse it, while not even starting the contract renewing process!!! Inter management was betting he will renew at any time with any salary because he loves the team! Skriniar didn't want the PSG move and even fired his agent so he could ease the renewal process. Yet Inter waited till the last day of the transfer window placing him on transfer list! If you think Skriniar will stay with this awful management that treated him badly, and still plans on selling him once a bid hits 65m, then you are deluded. wait wait, there is more.. We offered him 6.5m to renew in comparison to the 10m offered by PSG! I think we have only ourselves to blame.
