Just because we don't concede many goals, that doesn't mean we play negatively and defensively. We've scored the tied second amount in the league. Tied with Manchester City (who are renowned for their attacking play) and Manchester United who have Ronaldo, Rashford, Fernandes, Sancho, Greenwood, etc. We aren't 'anti-attacking', people just like to sensationalise things.

We had 1 shot on target from just 5 shots and only 2 chances created. That is clearly not good enough but this is what title challenging teams do, even on a bad day they fight to the end to get any point, whether it be defending for their life or otherwise. Our fans cry about it all the time.but it helps balance the books everytime. Chelsea know what they're doing, it might be tough/no nonsense and will make some fans get in their feelings..but majority of the time it works out.

It doesnt matter to Chelsea because they always win regardless of losing them to rivals, cause they make the right moves 8/10 times tbf. The point is not EVERY academy player can make it, and if a player is not good enough for the current system he has to be loaned or sold. Tough decisions are made in football countless times, you can moan about it but it makes little to no difference. Our Academy has done its job in making these youngsters attractive to not only us but other clubs. Players are grateful for a chance at first team football regardless if it's with us or another team. There will always be another class coming up and another young talent from overseas blooming.
