Properly stuck in my head, I've been humming it in meetings all day yesterday and today.

Mac Allister is the kind of business that made us successful in the past. Only 24 y/o, so he will enter his prime in the near future, Prem proven, hard-working. Seems very Wijnaldum-esque if you ask me

F*ck you racists

A shitty rumour which is completely baseless. It's mundo deportivo ffs, a trash of a news source

Warra assist😂

Ok so people actually think that bringing Messi in would be bad? First of all, these people are mostly not Barca fans and secondly let me give you all the positives of this transfer (for the club): Financial : Messi is ready to accept a salary of 10-13m which is similar to Lewa's pay and 40x less than what he would get in Saudi. A relatively high salary as he would rank 3rd highest earner behind De Jong and Busquets. BUT he would also bring a HUGE amount of money from sponsors and jersey sales (just to name a few) estimated to be around 750M euros. Squad depth : Barcelona lacks squad depth and Messi would be able to play in a lot of midfield spots as well as offensive spots, he could fill in for young players like Gavi who is overworked. Goals and Assists : Despite what some of Messi's haters want you to think, he is still very much capable of bringing goal contributions to the team, something that clearly lacks as of today. Even at 35 (almost 36), Messi still has the most goal contributions in the world (60 tied with Haaland). Having Messi in this squad would guarantee a quality of playmaking and finishing. BIG BONUS : Set pieces, Barca has not scored a direct free kick since Messi's departure. Mentoring : I laugh when I see people saying that Messi would be a hindrance to the development of young players, let me remind you that Pedri had a wonderful season because of him, he helped a lot of youngsters develop and would of course accept to be benched to let them have some game time. Leadership and Experience/Mentorship : Barcelona's squad is full of relatively "young" players, Gavi, Pedri, Balde are all under 20 and are all starters in the squad as well as Araujo and many of the bench players. They would all benefit from the mentorship and experience of Messi especially because he has spent 18 years in Spain. Fear factor : Yes, this may seem a bit ridiculous but both coaches and players still fear the name Messi, having him in the squad will force tactics changes. Madrid just renewed an almost 38 year old Modric and no one is complaining, Messi haters will always find excuses but in the end, Messi's return will be beneficial for both the club and him. Thank you for you attention

Madrid have moved on from and replaced Ronaldo, Ramos and Casemeiro, and have already started replacing Kroos and Modric (not that they need replacing yet) whilst Liverpool are refusing to move on from Henderson and Milner, and even Fabinho looks clapped this season so he might need replacing too. Doesn’t matter how much money Premier League clubs have when the people running them haven’t got a clue

... is called Luis Suarez

The front 3 literally makes no sense, I feel it should be Gakpo,Salah Elliott. Think someone else said that below. Bring on Darwin and push Gakpo wide, I think it would benefit them both. Midfield have been solid with all that being said surprisingly. TAA if he's fit enough would be great to bring on for back post threats in Gakpo and Darwin

Firstly whether you like it or not De jong is not a guaranteed CDM, so xavi will not bet on De jong in that position but as CM, secondly De jong continues with his exorbitant salary and thirdly you are drawing conclusions from rumours from the press.
avatar
We can sub Martinelli and Nketiah for Mudryk and Nelson and we will still have MSN up front. Now I understand why we were linked with Leroy Sané. Saka needs backup for him.
avatar
at some point it was Gonzalez. Or at least the most common name in the world cup history

One of the most stupid posts i've ever seen

Player ratings~ Ali 6.5: couldn't do much for the goal and was barely tested the rest of the match. Solid distribution as per. Trent 7: not his best attacking display but he put in a dangerous ball for the own goal and was excellent defensively. Matip 6: not his best display but didn't do too much wrong. Virg 7: dominant, composed, class. Robbo 6: not his best performance, his final ball was quite poor and he took a little too long on the ball at times. Not quite sure what he was doing for the Leicester goal, he looked like he was running in the opposite direction. Hendo 5.5: dreadful first half, kept giving the ball away with sloppy passes and was caught out for the goal. Much improved second half, looked more composed on the ball and made smarter decisions. Harvey 6: drifted in and out of the game. At times he was quite lively and had the ball at his feet a lot, other times he looked overwhelmed by the speed of the game and the chaos. Hope his injury isn't too bad, you could tell by his reaction that something may be awfully wrong. Thiago 7.5: so good, he does things on the pitch that simply others can't. The way he links defense to attack and sets the game to his own pace is brilliant, with some flair and showboating added in as well. Mo 6: didn't get too much of the ball today, and really should have taken that chance following that brillaint ball from Darwin. His holdup play was quite good though. Darwin 7: our best attacker tonight, I'm sure there will be many miss compilations tonight but those won't tell the full story. Made great runs, had a brillaint ball for Mo, was a constant threat, but yes, he should be taking his chances. Unlike some, I have no worries about whether or not Nunez will be a success here because to me everything looks positive. Ox 5.5: really didn't get the ball much or make an effect when he had it. I feel like both he and Carvalho have barely made any impact when playing out wide, the only difference being that one is youngster and the other is nearing 30. I feel for Ox though, you can tell by his face after coming off that he knows he wasted a massive opportunity to impress. His fall from 2018 is a sad one for sure... Substitutes: Tsimi 6.5: I thought Tsimi was very good on the ball and really didn't put a foot wrong. Though he didn't get any assists, performances like these make you wonder why Tsimi doesn't get more minutes. Naby 6.5: Thought he looked good when he came on. He brought a bit more of that defensive ability that we were lacking with Harvey in the middle and he could, and really should have had an assist for Nunez with that nice little ball over the top. Whether he stays after this season or not is still unknown, but he can certainly still play a role in this season, as he approaches full fitness. Gomez N/A: won a tackle or two. Bajcetic: N/A: won a tackle or two.

The best highlight of his career here

Bro that looks amazing
avatar
Liverpool fans, have patience with the boy, he has been through some rough times at Benfica and he always bounced back! Darwin will be the best striker in the PL, mark my words!
avatar
Nobody asked.
avatar
Also said that we were close to signing Renato Sanches after Euro 2020. Of course no source is right on everything but let’s not take his word as gospel. However, we probably shouldn’t trust any source too much because the sources who say that we are close to a transfer could be wrong as well. I think it’s best to just wait and see…
avatar
Get rid of that pfp

Very aggresive for a gk 😂 not bad tho potential and gk kicking could be a lot higher

Really happy for him! Felcidades, Leo! He deserved this...not just for his performance tonight and throughout the competition, but for his career and ability as well. He had an amazing tournament, and had a great performance in the final as well, and Argentina deserved to win it. This is the best World Cup final I've seen, and I've seen quite a few of them. Some great football and so much drama and intensity and some great goals. Just a shame it had to end on penalties, but I do feel that the better team deservedly won the shoot-out, but congratulations to France as well. After all the disappointment and criticism, it's nice for him to finally complete international football as well. For me Diego will always be Diego, and what he did was incredible, especially with Napoli, and we all have our personal own opinions in this debate, but after this World Cup, I do feel like it's becoming increasingly difficult to argue against Messi being the best male footballer ever. It's funny how these debates can change in a matter of years, with some big performances and titles.
avatar
THE BEST TO EVER DO IT Diego is proud of you, D10S
avatar
Officially the greatest player of all time
avatar
The debate ended was already over in 2011 for me but now nobody can have this debate while being serious anymore He's the GREATEST of our time by far, it's not even close Don't want to say of all-time because you just can't compare Pelé and Messi, the eras are so different but, in my opinion, they had the same impact on the game We won't see anyone being compared to Messi for at least 50 years
avatar
The greatest of all time
avatar
People are right, the GOAT debate was settled not now but years ago. Pelé showed us at 17 that winning a World Cup is profoundly important to cement yourself as a great player so he has done it not once, but Pelé has done it 3 times. Congratz on Messi winning it, Argentina is an insanely strong team.
avatar
HE IS THE GOAT IT WAS NEVER A DEBATE UNDISPUTED

Greatest of all time. I can't believe some people still doubted this before winning the world cup. He didn't need to win it to be the greatest.
