Absolutely not. Wenger changed dietary habits for players, had a huge hand in the new infrastructure at Arsenal (stadium, training ground) and all clubs who took notice, was in charge of a large portion of the finances, accelerated the arrival of talents from abroad into the PL and changed the perception of what perfect football should look like with beautiful football as opposed to traditional football like you’d see at Sunday league nowadays (obviously to a lower standard to PL from the 90s and earlier). Klopp has a legacy in this country for sure but no manager ever will come close to the legacy of Sir Alex or Wenger because both of those guys ran EVERYTHING in their clubs which is probably a big reason why Arsenal struggled initially and United have never been the same since Wenger and SFA left. Klopp and Pep are in charge of the team, the culture and have a say in the transfers- they don’t run the club. They arguably have created better teams overall than what SFA and Wenger had but they don’t have bigger legacies.

Baller. The desperation from the media to bring him down is hilarious. He is an absolute star.
avatar
still no upgrade for my boy he’s improved so much since last season as well, yet he’s kept the same rating
avatar
He's already explosive but at this point it's impossible to work on. Work load, injuries, and how much he's bulked up won't allow it. That's why he'll inevitably move into a midfield role in his later years
avatar
Salah is pretty clearly a RW first and foremost. Foden, Palmer and Silva are not. How can both Foden and Silva play a majority of their games at RW when they play for the same club?? Mahrez isn’t better Saka. That was obvious last year and shouldn’t even be a thought this year. Yes, Saliba and Rice are world class because they are one of the world’s best at their position. Same with Odegaard and Saka, they are one of the world’s best at their positions. Thanks for playing. 👍🏼
avatar
No he wouldn’t… he’s proven he can’t do it in the prem
avatar
just read about us ( from de telegraaf) having interest in Bijlow, the Feyenoord keeper and i just dont understand why we stay on this keeper cycle when we should be focusing on more vital positions like getting a midfielder to fill Partey’s role

I’ve got the perfect bench GK option for you once you sell Ramsdale… Arijanet Muric

People claim he looks Indian, I respond with a demographic fact. I did not say he was of Indian descent, only implying he could be. Interesting that you were bothered enough by a short demographic lesson to respond. It wasn’t an opinion, although opinions are a great thing to have, not all do.
avatar
The earliest signs of Indian migration to Brazil was in the 1600s, these were seamen called «Lascars». In the 1800s, a second wave of migrants hit the shore on ships from the English East India Company. From the 1960s on there have been several waves. To say Rodrygo has Indian roots might not be the most far fetched idea.

Very underrated player. Quietly had a big season and scored some clutch goals. Should be 84/84 in reality.
avatar
Just realized his stats are eerily similar to Dries Mertens At this point are we even sure a person named 'Leandro Trossard' even exists?

after assessing your squad, in the summer I’d say you need… - starting LB: Zinchenko is ass but will probably stay so he needs to be the backup, keep Tomiyasu and Kiwior as backup options but you need a real starter - starting CDM: keep Jorgi another year but sign someone to be the starter, if you got someone relatively young who could develop with Rice and Ødegaard that would give you arguably the best starting midfield in the league (which is massive for Arteta, a Pep disciple), you need to find your Rodri equivalent - rotation CF: Havertz has done well there but you can’t rely on him there, I would also still keep Jesus but have him as a strictly a bench option and as a squad player - rotation CM: you still have no good backup for Ødegaard and Rice and imo this is a huge problem bc you’re playing with fire, in a midfield 3 you want at least 4 but probably 5 good options with one or 2 youngsters as options as well - backup CB: Timber will come back as the backup for Saliba and could play a good amount at RB, but he is undersized and therefore limited, imo you need a taller backup CB (preferably left footed) who can also compete and primarily backup Gabriel and be a option with height and aerial ability at CB - backup GK: Ramsdale could and should easily be a PL number 1 somewhere else, you could get serious money for him to re-invest, so a backup GK should come in, maybe a veteran who doesnt mind sitting out but is always ready to play and deliver at a good level ————————————————————— if this club is serious, I would expect a squad next season of something like this: GK Raya / new backup RB White / Tomiyasu RCB Saliba / Timber LCB Magalhães / new backup / Kiwior LB new starter / Zinchenko CDM new starter / Jorginho RCM Ødegaard / Nwaneri / Vieira LCM Rice / new backup RW Saka / Jesus LW Trossard / Martinelli CF Havertz / new backup

not a fair price considering injuries tbh

What I respect about Manchester City is how well you polish every aspect of your football operations. From the holding company (CFG) that manages other clubs for swapping players, to the excellent training facilities, the great stadium environment, and the top-notch coaching and management staff, it's truly impressive. I'm really envious of it. You're not the noisy neighbors anymore, United is the noisy one now.
avatar
Because everytime i see you comment on this website, you are yapping 9/10 times. "I like him as a player but he’s not handsome, beautiful hair though" "Give us Palmer we send you Saka in exchange." "Saka doesn’t even makes top 5." You are really a troll account and its sad to see hahaha. Go support the rivals g. You really think our captain is gonna leave? Our most wins in a season ever, and our team is only getting better and better. Either you became a fan in 2022 or you are really just a retard. Biggest virgin move to make called "Big Bhaavs". Meme names to random people that doesn't even know you exist

You'd be surprised how long shortlists are for clubs in fairness, but also I've also included a lot of midfielders as I believe we need 2
avatar
Please draft Zinchenko and put him on the front line.
avatar
You just described Haaland 😂
avatar
Hes good in a certain system with extraordinary players. Put him in a mid table team and he goes back to being a glorified Andy carroll 78/82
avatar
Chelsea celebrating 6th place🤣🤣🤣 when arsenal finished 6th it was seen as failure, but when chelaea does it its seen as a trophy🤣 poor little chelsea always in arsenal shadow
avatar
Three reasons imo: 1. A deeper squad so that key players can rest. It's quite clear that Arteta doesn't trust Smith-Rowe, Vieira, Nelson, Nketiah etc. That should imo be Arsenal's main objective, to improve the squad. Can't trust Odegaard, Saka & Rice to stay injury free all season. 2. Gain more experience. This is still a young team, there's few winners in this team. Man City have that winning culture and a manager who's been in this situation multiple times. 3. Arsenal fans may not like this, but I think they need a clinical striker who can get them 20-30 league goals. Man City set the bar so high and got Haaland who if fit for a full season scores 30+ league goals. It's good to spread the goals between mids/wingers/strikers, but the elite strikers can turn difficult games into relatively easy ones by putting away the chances

Newcastle United 10. Crystal Palace 11. West Ham 12. AFC Bournemouth 13. Brighton & Hove 14. Everton 15. Wolves 16. Brentford 17. Leicester City 18. Nottingham Forrest 19. Ipswich Town 20. Leeds United

Would you take Pascal Gross for ~15m on a 2+1 years deal? Guy is absolute class and PL proven, only problem is his age. Could be the Trossard of our midfield
