Well I've always thought that the EPL should have 5 UCL spots considering how superior the top is compared to other leagues, like there's no way Union Berlin, Freiburg, Dortmund or Leipzig are as good as Man United or Newcastle, or even Liverpool or Brighton, as much as Liverpool have been inconsitent. Yet all those clubs get the same reward as the PL clubs if they get top 4 in their league, which is MUCH easier to qualify for. You could asy it's proportional since PL clubs get more funding, hence why it's much more competitive, but the level of European competitions would be increased with 5th also being a UCL spot. Marseille got through the UCL playoffs, just to be dogshit in the UCL. I'm positive any of the top 6 PL clubs could beat Marseille. Just my view though, you lot are welcome to disagree
