After a period of severe instability and constant promotions and relegations, Norwich need to be come back up to the Premier League again and the squad is full of ageing players who aren't good enough for the PL.
Firstly, I am aiming to bring in more youth into the side and take out the ageing players who will be useless by next year.
Secondly, I am aiming to try and give the club's current young players a chance this year such as Thompson, the Murphy brothers and James Maddison.
Finally, I aim to have a squad that will be good enough to not change too much in the Premier League.
Out List -
- Dorrans
- Tettey
- Turner
- Lafferty
- Jarvis
- Bassong
- Whittaker
- Jerome
The reason why all these players are on my transfer list is the same. Ageing and not really that good. This, coupled with in many cases, high wages from the PL days makes them obvious choices to sell.
Transfer Targets/Arrivals
- Gboly Ariyibi - Chesterfield - Young with decent potential, this guy has some amazing stats such as 90+ pace, 5 star weak foot and 78 dribbling for a 68 rated player is amazing.
- James Maddison - Aberdeen(Loan) - Recalling him from his loan will give us an amazing young player to nuture over the course of this year.
- Dom Solanke - Chelsea - Likely to be a loan deal to provide back up to Oliveira this campaign. He may end up being a permanent signing if he plays well.
- Duje Caleta-Car - RB Salzburg - As a backup this guy will provide a good mix of strength, pace and height. Has a bit of a Nemanja Vidic feel about him which is reassuring.
- Axel Tuanzebe - Man Utd - A decent back up on loan. Unlikely to stay long term but you never know.
- Stephen Kingsley - Swansea - An excellent young player who will compete with Olsson for the LB position. Could also play CB as well.
- Mason Holgate - Everton - Again another back up loanee. Nothing special but necessary in a 46 game league campaign.
All are young and likely to be well trained to improve.
