4 years penalty for doping. are you fucking kidding me!? The CAS promised to make a judgement at the start of the transfer period, so that the club can react in case that the player get a longer penalty. It's 4 fucking days until the end of the period. In the meantime, they were able to make decisions about olympia in Paris, which was in July, while we wait since May. I'm so mad about those shitters. First they sabotaged our first promotion and now they fucked this season. Imagine that he's the record transfer of the HSV in the second league. And also I'm sad for Mario. He knew nothing about the doping. They even gave him a lie detector (might sound hilarious, but it's allowed in Switzerland), which proofed the truth of his statements. Even IF he doped, he wasn't able to do his job, for which he was working towards like his whole life, which was his dream... He suffered enough and the career is short. Give him a financial penalty and that's it, but not like that. Poor man is even allowed to train with a team for another two years. That's also a social penalty.

Lunin maybe

Ihe hate towards solomon is racism at 100%
avatar
It's not his fault where he was born, it's completely understandable that in a war he would be on the side of his family and friends. I also don't like that he posts shit opinions on Instagram, but I understand that he is on the side of his people. injury prone and short are not enough reasons to hate him, if that were the case Maddison should be hated too. And Solomon was quite good in the few games he was available.
avatar
All this Solomon hate is just so idiot
avatar
Oh Rovers that’s probably your first L in a long time mate 😂😂😂😂😂
avatar
Bro that's travelled by means of transport, ain't no way he ran for 163k km
avatar
Sad tbh, he could be very good depth for uel and cup games
avatar
So only 2 fullbacks registered? What could possibly go wrong. https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1831695589945249851
avatar
Even better I'd say, he seems to have improved his corner awareness and has kept his insane reflexes but his distribution needs to improve, also Anthony is the goat
avatar
Spence is a cool character, but I can't see where he would make the team better, especially as a LB.
avatar
Cheers mate.
avatar
Literally no one thinks you're good at baiting, because it's that obvious.
avatar
No shots made since Newcastle scored. Sad. Would be nice to see how this team could perform with an actual striker. Haven't seen it on a consistent since Richarlison was actually fit for once and scored 9 goals in 10 games.
avatar
Now in all fairness, you have to admit that Dragusin is good. Perhaps you should partner him up with Van de Ven, that could work out better.
avatar
No Rice for the NLD hmmmm

being realistic, in what aspect did the team improve in this transfer window? Apart from Solanke, all the signings were players who will only be starting material in 2-3 years. Solanke is the only one who goes straight to the main team, and I think there were better and not much more expensive options on the market, like Gyokeres. However, I still see it as a good signing that can pay off a lot for several years. Bergvall has a lot of talent, but he is only 19 years old and he probably will be inconsistent during the season. Furthermore, he is not an upgrade in our midfield and does not solve the problems we have in this sector. Archie Gray is a very interesting signing, he is good enough to fight for a place in the first team, but I don't see how he can improve the team much defensively or offensively currently. He and Bergvall are crazy players with a lot of potential, but neither of them solves the problems in our midfield, I remember several games in which the midfield was dominated by the opponents, and I see no signs that this will change. Odobert is another interesting signing, he could be a good option to have on the bench or establish himself in the starting team, however, taking into account that the attack was the team's most struggling area last season, I expected a more ready player with a greater number of goals. But I won't judge too much, he has a dribbling profile that is very unique in the squad and could become a great player, but I don't see that happening this season. Werner is the definition of a mediocre signing. And having a player who can't score to save his life and who can only make crosses (for a team where the best header is a defender) doesn't help our team at all. We should bought someone better. What I mean by all of this is that even though the team has signed very talented players, only one of them solves a problem that plagued us last season (Odobert might solve some of them too). The team did not reinforce itself at all in the area that was most attacked by injuries, the defense, and we are going into this season with Spence and Reguilon as our options for the fbs. I understand that this is a long process, but dann we are looking prety much stagnant.

The guys finishing is garbage

Should be Son or Kulu, no one else

It was Emerson before, Trippier, Eriksen etc etc What brothers me is that other players like Aurier, GLC or Ndombele had people saying "give that guy another chance" after 2/3 seasons of shit performances. While players like Johnson or PEH underperform some matches in a overall good season and they are condemned forever.
avatar
Underwhelming window ngl
avatar
No chance. If there was any possibility of him being in the squad he’d have played in pre season. With some players like Emerson it’s a situation of either keep or sell for the right offer, so he played until he was sold. Reguilon is gone or he’s just training until he leaves in the winter window. I think he’ll defo be sold though.
avatar
Well I blame whoever wrote the article then that was misleading af
avatar
It’s only for international comps lad, he misbehaved for Uruguay not Spurs
avatar
He Is banned from International matches ONLY So no prob on our side
avatar
So you are telling me that we could have signed Chiesa for only €15M but instead we decided to just bring back Werner on loan? 😭😭😭
avatar
Madueke is such a good player
avatar
Y'all ready for the Pigeon?
avatar
Pretend to support Arsenal and curse them please
avatar
Excited for Kulu striker tbh
avatar
https://sofifa.com/squad/1890045 Tottenham U-23 players (without the likes of Lankshear and Moore who are not in the game) It's insane to think that we have 1-2 good young players at almost every position. I think it's more important for the team to focus on developing these players rather than signing more youngsters, as Chelsea has been doing.
avatar
Yep of course they do, it’s Ben Davies 👍
avatar
True, people forget how good was Solomon pre injury. Easily a starter for a team between 12th and 8th place, not saying he will be back at that level soon, but not surely a championship level player
avatar
If you took Lange’s job you would run our club into the ground at record speed
avatar
Just wanna mention our loan players so far. Gil, and Hojbjerg both had good debuts, especially Hojbjerg. Marseille beat Brest 5-1 away from home. And, Girona drew 1-1 away from home against Real Betis. Hojbjerg stats in that game: 120 touches (1st), 91% passing accuracy (2nd), 5 tackles (3rd), 5 interceptions (1st). Also Gil: 4 shots (1st), 77 touches (3rd), 90% passing accuracy (3rd), 2 key passes (tied 3rd), 3 dribbles (tied 1st), 4 tackles (tied 1st). But, he also got dispossessed 6 times which was the most of any player in that game. Veliz, and Donley had okay debuts for Espanyol, and Leyton Orient respectively. Both starting, but both teams losing 1-0. Dane Scarlett came off the bench for his debut for Oxford United. But, he should be a starter with more training with the team, as Oxford's striker aren't all that good. Matthew Craig has started all 3 of his games for Barnsley.

I will be honest ever since Paratici came around and we've been trying to change up how we do transfer, our transfer windows have been a lot better. Look at our transfer window from 2016-17 to 2020-21. Literally all of those transfer windows were just bad. Only 2017-18 was okay. The 2021-22 season was a great window where we signed Bentancur, Kulusevski, and Romero. Bentancur, and Kulusevski for good value. But, there was Gil who was a big flop for 25m euros. The 2022-23 season was more wishy washy with pointless signings (Danjuma, and Lenglet), and other players being inconsistent/injured (Perisic, Richarlison, Bissouma). But, we signed Porro, and Udogie who've been amazing for us. And, last season I would say was a good window, but not amazing. We improved our CB depth so much with van de Ven, and Dragusin. Great replacement for Lloris in Vicario, and signing Maddison. I have to question our winger signings though. Solomon, Werner, and Johnson for 55m euros is looking crazy now. And, Veliz for 15m euros could be the next Foyth. And, this window we signed Bergvall, and Gray who are very likely going to be one of the best players in their position, Solanke who's the perfect Ange striker, and Odobert who could solve our problems on the right wing. Statistically only Lamine Yamal, and Desire Doue are the only teenage wingers that had better dribbling last season from the top 5 leagues. We really just need another CB for depth. People are saying Hincapie. A pointless buy. We have good CB depth, and we have talented young CBs in Phillips, Vuskovic, and Dorrington. Just need a solid homegrown that's comfortable with playing some minutes here and there. Hincapie is just unrealistic from a team building perspective, and for Hincapie. Bayer to Spurs is a big downgrade right now.

Started watching soccer in 2012 because I liked Ibrahimovic on FIFA 12. Fell in love with AC Milan but couldn’t support after he left for PSG. Switched clubs to Tottenham right as they sold Bale. After realizing Levy bought dross in Soldado & Paulinho, I decided to support Arsenal seeing Ozil rack up 15 assists by Dec. We finished 5th in 2017 and I couldn’t take the Arsenal “4th” banter so decided Spurs was truly home bcoz Harry Kane was just too good.. then Levy bought Sissoko on deadline day, didn’t back our manager for 3 windows, and fired Poch which led me to Inter Milan since I had no interest w/ Kane trying to force his way to City and Levy hiring a Wolves manager. Inter went bankrupt with the new Chinese owners and I finally made my decision to stay a lifelong Spurs supporter under Conte

Typical Pep mind games
avatar
This is why they’re banning heading the ball at youth level. Too many footballers with brain damage.
avatar
Also Levy’s decision to bring back Werner on £165,000 a week, after the way he played last year, will never not confuse, infuriate, and exasperate me. Jokeman.
avatar
The bloke just runs in a straight line and cuts it back into the box without looking, it’s a lazy transfer from Levy. If we sign him on a permanent next summer we’re going backwards.
avatar
Hugely disappointing start. Dropping points to possibly the worst team on form/paper. I was only able to see bits, during which we seemed to be playing ok, but the way this club always finds ways to underwhelm is incredible.
