IRL he's good at playmaking from the back, quite capable of passing his way through moderate pressing and of shielding the ball until a teammate opens a fairly wide passing lane in a short distance. Regarding tackles... he's confident and aggressive enough but he relies a bit more on good timing than on roughness and brute force when diving into the tackle. However IG you can train him to become either an rough stopper or a flair libero, he's balanced enough to develop into whatever type of defender you wanna make him.

I disagree, their squad is incoherent. The defense is very solid, but the attack has too few options. It’s not because Montella is a moron that he played Ribery and Chiesa as strikers, their true striker options are Boateng, who was never a goalscorer and is too slow in his movement and actions for their style of play. Pedro has just been a flop, clearly he has not made any mark at all. Vlahovic is very talented but can’t be relied upon yet. There’s actually no reason for them to play a 5 defender system, with 2 holding midfielders to make it even more defensive. Basically their only attacking players are Castrovili, Chiesa and Ribery. Chiesa will at very best score 7-9 goals in an entire season as a starter, and that’s the best case. Ribery has never been a goalscorer. Castrovili is doing great, but last year he was in Serie B, he should not be relied upon. Where else is consistent goals gonna come from? They need a proven striker in January.
