I know it's still early doors but McCarthy doesn't look up to the task, if I'm honest. Being 'Premier League proven' doesn't automatically mean he's good enough for a team like Celtic. Sometimes new signings start slow but show glimpses of their promise, McCarthy however has not yet shown anything of note. I hope he proves me wrong but there's a good chance he's our next Shane Duffy, the only difference being that we have actually given McCarthy a 4 year deal..

Not just the long passing though, this guy deserves several upgrades. Could easily be a 75/84 with the way he has been performing this season, what a talent.
