Yea he’s been playing good lately, he got to start some matches due to the injuries that affected our midfielders, such as Zakaria’s and Mckennie’s, and also Locatelli who got covid. The only problem about him is that he slows down our build up a lot, making average short passes instead of trying to long pass the ball to our attackers which is basically his playstyle. Moreover his tackling ability is really average and the most of the times he will get dribbled. What makes him decent is his composure which allows him to deliver the ball to other teammates even when there’s a lot of pressure on him, and also his interceptions are truly outstanding, he recovers a lot of balls during the matches. But that’s pretty much it.

Why did you include Mckennie, Locatelli and Zakaria and left out Arthur?

I'm thinking double pivot with De Jong since finding a Busquets replacement is nearly impossible. De Jong hasn't worked in a lone CDM role but we know he does well in a double pivot and Nico isn't an option unfortunately.

In our matches he often drops down in the midfield in order to recover the ball and at least 3/4 times a match he makes some good interceptions. Pressing wise yeah, he may not be the best but it pretty much depends on his physical shape, when he’s fully fit he keeps pressing with Morata (it’s Allegri’s gamestyle) defenders for a good part of the match and honestly that’s what I call “being an hardworker”, otherwise, when he’s just come back from an injury that’s pretty normal that his workrates may look worse.

I think he never got the credit he deserved for how well he played in the premier league for the majority of his time at arsenal

Pace should be low 80's. Short passing around 80, long passing around 75. Ball control and dribbling I'd give +5 each. Strength I'd give 85, and Def awareness 85 or 86. Also reckon vision could get a slight bump. And this is kind of a pointless one, but shot power and long shots needs massive upgrades. Deserves close to around mid 50s in long shots, and high 60s in shot power imo. Has gone close a few times this season, and has proven he can really strike a ball.
