My last four signings: 1] Morata €10M loan + €10M option/obligation to buy in summer 2023: ideal player because we know what we will get when he will rejoin, he could play with two strikers upfront together with Vlahovic while he is also being able to be the vice-Vlahovic when Vlahovic would be unavailable. In case it won't happen, Depay could be a good alternative although I think he is not able to play as a pure striker in e.g. 4-3-3 when Vlahovic would not be available. Strikers such as Arnautovic, Muriel, Milik, Maxi Gomez and Simeone remain decent alternatives. 2] Paredes €15M: a decent regista who could allow Locatelli to play as mezzala sometimes: the midfield Pogba-Paredes-Locatelli could be a good/great one while Paredes could also be rotation player in a double pivot 3] Acerbi (free) / Pau Torres (€40M) / Senesi (€15M): depending on our funds, sign at least a new left-footed CB. Acerbi could be a good fix and rotation player for the short term, whereas Pau or Senesi could be ideal for the long term 4] Lo Celso €20M: sign him, especially when Rabiot leaves we no longer have a left-footed midfielder. Moreover, he is creative, has a lot of speed and great dribbling and can play almost everywhere in midfield and attack. Very versatile player purchased at low cost. When Arthur, Rabiot and Ramsey leave we also need at least two new midfielders, Paredes and Lo Celso could be great fits. Ideally, a new left back would be the fifth signing. However, I think we don't have the funds for that. We should have signed Tagliafico for only €4M, but now he has joined Lyon so he isn't an option anymore. Other options such as Gaya and Caio Henrique might, at least for now, too expensive but I would be very happy if they would join. Anyway, next summer a new LB is the priority. I still hope Sandro will surprise us in the upcoming season and it would be great if Pellegrini and/or Cambiaso will explode in the upcoming season. Otherwise, the most current interesting names are in my opinion: Spinazzola (next summer he has only one year left on his contract at Roma, maybe we could benefit from that situation), Gaya and Caio Henrique.
