How can you compare? Cancelo was a 24yo guy who we couldn't afford to buy. He played at Inter one year in loan and he was loved but wasn't an idol. Lukaku was a mature 30yo, that we bought with a lot of money saving him from his decline at Shitty Utd and became an "hero" in Milano. Anyway, I’ve seen a lot of improvements this year also thanks to the excellent work of the board which wasn’t planned, since we ended with Pavard because the Donkey of Antwerpen made us a favour with the dad of the Serbian guy. I also always said that, considering the football idea of Inzaghi, technical players would have been better for him, but that’s how modern football works. Now I think that this team can seriously compete to win the Champions League and create dynasty over the years.

Atalanta were on a 10 game unbeaten streak and their last loss was in 2023. Inter just made them look like Salernitana. Unbelievable how we keep defying expectations. This is literally the season of my dreams. It’s crazy to think how the club’s condition is so different from what it was just a few years ago.
