Nantes were the one who hired the agent, who, at the time, was banned from being an agent in football, and said agent insisted on flying Sala in a dodgy private plane because it would be faster, even though Cardiff offered commercial and insisted on it, in the end, Nantes is at least partly at fault, so Cardiff is not totally in the wrong for suing for damages. It's sad that this is being argued over a real humans life though.
