AUSTRALIA RAHHHHHHH
avatar
Obviously Cole Palmer is insane but Havertz is playing a fantastic season
avatar
Outcome based analysis is absolutely plaguing football discourse right now. Losing energy for all of it. All you're telling me is that you don't know ball, really. You just think that you do.
avatar
City dropped a stinker a match too late unfortunately. They looked like Burnley out there today.
avatar
City on their knees against United. Why couldn't they do this in the league ffs.
avatar
Popa curse is real :( Richmond losing to Essendon tonight adds more fuel to the fire. Still though, if you asked me if I would take making the semis let alone the granny then I would have taken it and ran. Definitely some positives to take from this season but whether we build on it, jury is still out...
avatar
He’ll probably play there for the National team
avatar
it’s that managers somehow morph into an elite version of themselves after they win a title if Arteta wins the 24/25 PL then in hindsight he was an elite manager all along? the logic is flawed
avatar
The ongoing manager circus at other clubs makes me appreciate Arteta so much more. Holy shit did we strike gold with that guy. Not only is he a truly elite manager, but he also loves the club. The fact that we got a guy who not only is a great manager, but also someone who wants to be here... special.
avatar
Yes it's a bit weird to be honest. The fans who have paid alot of money deserved better. On the other hand I can see why Eddie Howe didn't want to take any risk in the final game of the season. The club needed to raise £6m before June 30th for FFP reasons, and they have now gotten £4m for these two games. But yes, we should have been playing some of the youngsters vs Spurs, and some 1st team players today. It was a PR disaster, and I'm sure we gained 0 new young Aussie fans after this
avatar
From our perspective, Bruno won't leave unless the RC is triggered within the next 4 weeks. RC won't be active after June 30th. He's happy at Newcastle and won't try and force a move or such. The clause was designed in this way to protect club & player. Getting £100m immediately for 23/24 financial calendar year would be extremely helpful for FFP reasons, and would allow us to spend the full 100m in this transfer window. And if nobody triggers that clause then we can avoid speculation regarding Bruno till Sept 1st when window shuts

tears he’s top 2 itw

avatar
Klopp is not overrated, Wenger is not underrated. If you take this corrupt Man City team with the ridiculous squad depth, infinite budget and biased refereeing and you put them into any era then I can guarantee Sir Alex, Mourinho, Wenger would’ve won less trophies. The only slight stain on Klopp’s career is that the PL trophy they won will forever be slightly disregarded because of Covid and the fact that the season was paused and there were rule changes when it was restarted. Other than that, he won every major trophy you can win in this country including a CL which we unfortunately have never achieved. Wenger’s impact on English football is definitely underrated nowadays because he laid the foundations for everything the league has but his final few years unfortunately are a factor in why he’s not underrated- he lost his adaptability in the end and that was one of his biggest strengths in the beginning.
avatar
Also, I see there is some Klopp and Wenger discussion going on in places so my two cents are this. Klopp is ever so slightly overrated, Wenger is ever so slightly underrated, Wenger stuck around too long and became the villain. Klopp is leaving too early for that to happen.

So we play in the community shield again
avatar
According to TNAT last post on Patreon we really are interested in Sesko. Not just agent talk
avatar
Tbf they were cursed with injuries this season. Maguire, Varane, Martinez, Shaw...regardless, their recruitment over the last decade has been abysmal and they don't look like much of a team/unit. For their sake I'd hope Ten Haag is fired and they bring in a true culture-builder. For our sake, I hope Ten Haag stays for many years...
avatar
Arteta has won more trophies for Arsenal than all these managers combined for Tottenham... https://s3a.sofifa.net/7880776336a64fe233de0c319f66c8f6f8fc14a4.jpg

Log out bro, think of all the stolen wallets your missing out on by wasting time on here.

avatar
I know it was ages ago but I’ve never understood the people saying we played for a draw against city. We played the same way that Real Madrid, spurs and wolves did when they beat city we just don’t have players that are great on the transition. We did get into some really good positions but didn’t take advantage of them
avatar
Arsenal 5 points clear in February but lose the league by 5 points = Biggest bottle job in history Liverpool 5 points clear in February but lose the league by 9 points= *Crickets*

@Regulars, Happy holidays and have fun... Glad to see most of us taking heart, this journey ain't over!
avatar
Clearly missing Saka, which is not at all surprising. That's not a criticism of anyone else - he's just that good. Truly irreplaceable. Knock-on effect with his absence is also that it makes White role a bit more... unclear ig is the right word? Idk, it just isn't the same. Imo Partey should also be taken off ASAP. Jorginho, ESR, Vieira, idc. It's not working. Would also like to see Jesus at some point. He brings some chaos and ingenuity in the final 3rd.
avatar
It’s the hope that kills you 💔 Exciting last day nonetheless
avatar
I hope it happens that club honestly deserves it, Arteta man what a coach.
avatar
And if we don’t, nothing indicates we won’t be there again. And again. And again…until we win it
avatar
Are you stupid?
avatar
I fell asleep putting my boy to sleep and missed the fight, only just woke up 😭 But more importantly, COYG, let's end the season on a high!
avatar
So you’re telling me, there’s a chance? https://s3a.sofifa.net/f43c1563c7aecab75ced20088e4c981ebf108081.jpg

avatar
was 1.5
avatar
Haha youre not alone mate I was 7
avatar
that’s crazy, never knew you were my age
avatar
Already agreed with my boss a half day if we win so I can make it for the parade. Ill be off on the Tuesday and expect to get absolutely battered celebrating with a bunch of random people I’ve never met
avatar
If we win, celebrate Like you I haven't seen a title win(one at 4 months old doesn't count) But we probably won't
avatar
Man I’ve been feeling the exact same haha. I was too young to acknowledge the last time we won the league so this would be my first time really seeing it. I have no idea how I’d react if it happened haha.
avatar
We are a similar age... I'm going to the game and then what happens (hopefully a miracle) dictates my Monday to be honest
avatar
Fuck yes mate, I’ll be in Scotland actually during the game so first thing I’d be looking for is a pub and get pissed
avatar
First thing I'm doing mate is calling in sick. I’m getting myself into Islington and soaking it all in and hugging random Gunners I’ve never met. I can’t bloody wait for when that day comes, hopefully not too much longer.
avatar
Ramsdale expected to move to Newcastle then according to TNAT Good move for him. Up north, prospect of regular playtime and a good chance of Europe most seasons. Their fans will love him and his antics. Hopefully we get £30-35m at the least for Rambo and maybe sweetens them up to sell Bruno to us.
avatar
Happy 10th anniversary Arsenal 3-2 victory vs Hull

Bringing up trophies is not in your best interest.
avatar
We dropped 4 points in the last 6 months... You've dropped 25. The last time you got 89 points was nearly 12 years ago.
avatar
I’ve played and met all off them involved in the betting scandal. I have no words.

avatar
arrested as part of a betting scandal, cooperating with a South American betting syndicate to get yellow cards at specified points during games... not Uli man
avatar
That is good for us? Why would he risk Euros with no minutes the whole season
avatar
Saka runs and sweats 2x playing 2x the minutes while the other is a flat-track bully that statpads against the smaller teams. What did Foden do in their game vs Spurs?!
avatar
Saka being a better RB than most RB’s in the league despite not being a RB is not talked about enough.
