In those last games, City started playing similar to what they were doing middle of the season when they would never pass the ball to Haaland and he would have 1 chance in the game. We had 3 City teams this season: The early season when every ball was going to Halland, the Middle of the season when they would never pass the ball to him, and the prime city when Stones became a midfielder with Haaland getting chances to score, but also giving space to midfielders shine.

I think Haaland's greatest virtue is his positioning and not his finishing. He doesn't have a better finish than Benzema or Lewandowski, for example. What confirms that his best virtue is positioning, is that 90% of his goals are less than 2 meters away from the goal. It's very rare to see him score goals from long shots. But this is not demerit. He's the best #9 in the world, but maybe not the best finisher.
