Bro calm down, there can’t be a generational player of Neymar’s level every 10 years, that’s why players like him are considered special and are so well known. They are rare. It’s just a phase and eventually a new player with generational talent of his level or better will spawn.
avatar
As good as he is, I’ll never ever understand why people demand 95 potential for a player that is still light years away from Messi and CR7, who at their peaks had a 94 rating themselves. Ridiculous notion, even Mbappé who has 95 potential is 2 classes below both of the two. Vini will be 92 at ABSOLUTE max and even then, he’d be higher rated than Neymar, who‘s been the way better player at his peak.
avatar
For the next season with A.Conte (I hope), Zirkzee, Calafiori, Buongiorno, Scalvini, Koopmeiners/Zielinski/Samardzic, ricci.
avatar
time to start a new career mode

Every Brazilian has to score against Brazilian farmers, how do you think do they get any reputation. Like any talent from there, bar Neymar, he will spend the first few seasons to develop and play second fiddle til he gets his starting position. Guy wishes him to flop immediately, chill out. Are you a butthurt Barca fan or what?

I'd take any of Osimhen, Gyökeres or Sesko. Pros and cons with all 3, but they'd def be my personal favourites from that list. I used to be a Toney guy before, but the more I see of him, the more I hear of him, the less enthused I am about him. I still think he could do well, and he'd prob be my first "backup" if any of those 3 don't work, but he's becoming more of an afterthought for me. The reporting seems to suggest that's the case for Arsenal as well. My free answer is Isak. Now, this would only be possible if Newcastle do indeed need to sell someone to comply with the financial rules, and if they're fine with Isak being the one to sell. Tbh, I think they might be. Regardless, Isak would be the perfect 9 in this team. He can drop deep and combine, carry us up the pitch, make wide runs and rotate with the wingers, beat players with ease 1v1 and he's a strong finisher. This is a guy who can truly create goals and chances by himself out of nothing, something I'm not sure we currently have in the team. He's both a stylistic fit and an upgrade on what we already got. Idk if you can definitively say that for any of the other 9s on that list.
avatar
Southgate linked to the United job, would pay to see that happen
avatar
Who’s paying 45m for Partey? Bloke has legs made out of cheese
avatar
79-87 88 stamina
avatar
A real face before a pic. Classic EA.
avatar
Uhm, I am sorry, but isn't he too white for Swedistani?
avatar
Searching for paper right now to write an apology after all the shit I said about him because he's him 😂😂
avatar
he still likes to get caught offguard sometimes, but other that that he's excellent, growing in confidence with each match
avatar
he's so good under pressure. People cry about him not turning up in big games but he's been the best player on the pitch tonight
avatar
95 stamina
avatar
He is what EA thought Bruno Fernandes was
avatar
Fantastic player, and cost only 35mil as well
avatar
Generational talent. One of those few wonderboys that lived up to the hype. 89-91 ASAP
avatar
Went from a failed wonderkid to one of the best midfielders itw at 25
avatar
Needs stamina and dribbling upgrade
avatar
Hopefully that put this “ghosting” thing to rest. Unreal quality on the ball but his mentality and attitude is there to match. Showed some serious serious minerals today. Arsenal fans need to appreciate him more
avatar
81 Stamina is insane, should easily be 90+
avatar
We didn’t have Saka vs City and didn’t have Jesus vs Liverpool.
avatar
Jesus maybe but Saka is literally one of our best players you clown lol
avatar
Cmon EA, they’re sponsoring La Liga and they still can’t keep up or at least give small upgrades every update to La Liga players? Hire some new editors that actually watch La Liga damn. They all sleeping or on vacation He should be 76/84 at least by now
avatar
the definition of hard work. to me he feels like an english version of monreal back in the day. nothing too flashy but genuinely never below a 7/10
avatar
Trophies don't mean someone is better than another. That being said, I don't agree with the statement
avatar
Would already be 80/92
avatar
Imagine all the hype around if this guy played for Brokelona
avatar
1. Football The rest don't really matter.
avatar
74/85 give him some respect ffs
avatar
Are you dumb? No one was at fault. Stop trying to blame someone when it wasn’t Intentional. Tchou lost balance and was falling forward. Diakhaby’s leg was unfortunately there when he fell. It’s a shitty thing to happen to anyone
avatar
Agree with some of Harvis picks, but also disagreed in some spots. Best: Can't pick one so top 5: Alisson, KDB, Salah, Rodri, Rice Overrated: Ruben Dias, Bruno Fernandes, Trippier, JWP, Maddison, Varane (altho maybe not anymore), Trossard (so many have been calling him underrated to the point where he's now overrated lol) Underrated: Curtis Jones, Isak, Mangala, Awoniyi, Lewis Cook, weirdly think Hojlund is underrated Overhyped: Miley, Palmer Promising: Mainoo, Lewis, Branthwaite, Udogie (if he counts) Idk tho, I'm always very conflicted on these kinds of lists. They're fun to do, but a) what are you even basing over/underrated on and b) if many agree with you that a player is over/underrated, doesn't that exclude them from said list? Idk, it's a paradox lol.
avatar
Salah Romero/Dias Bowen/Andersen idk about the rest

Pleasing win after a difficult few weeks. This has to be the kickstarter for some momentum now. If we beat Forest and Liverpool suddenly we are right back in the title picture again. I thought everyone played well, Gabriel motm ofc. What a great signing he’s been, 3rd season in a row where he’s been very good. Raya had his best game for Arsenal and Zinchenko reminded us of his value yet again, great stuff. Ben White looked nice and tanned which is probably why he looked better than he has in a while. If Southgate doesn’t pick him we should probably send him to Dubai every international break. Saliba was Saliba. Palace were awful but our defenders all put in a good shift. Our midfield was solid enough. Rice played well and Odegaard was busy, Havertz had some nice touches but was largely anonymous. Would like ESR to start the next match as I think he can offer us better ability to unpick locks then Kai against what will certainly be a Nottingham Forest low block, Havertz has strengths that ESR doesn’t posses but for that match I prefer Emile, who looked bright today. In fact all the subs were outstanding. Martinelli the standout ofc, his attitude is just brilliant and his hunger is infectious, he frustrates me at times but you just can’t fault his desire and he’s earnt his place back in the 11 for next week, up to him to kick on and find some momentum. Eddie and Jorginho both got nice assists, starting to really think Jorginho might be the most underrated player in our squad, guy almost always looks good when he plays. Jesus played well, should’ve had 3 assists for Trossard who should’ve had a hat trick. Good game from Leo, excellent squad player to have. It’s been a year since we signed him and I believe he’s scored 8 and assisted 12 in all comps in that time, really good numbers for a squad player. Happy to have him as long as he promises to never take another corner again in his life. This has to be the start of a run of form now. Plenty of positives, we found our shooting boots and attacking flair against an admittedly awful opponent, I’m looking at that Liverpool game in early February as a statement game for us. All eyes on Forest for now though. COYG.
avatar
Hope new squad update tomorrow
avatar
i wonder it they may wait till the window is closed. or maybe just 1 for the middle of the month then not till Feb
avatar
Give him face ffs
avatar
He might not be a goalgetter banging 20 goals for Arsenal a season, but he makes other teammates score too.
avatar
Champions league top goal scorer and he's not even in the competition. If he can score on the biggest stage in Europe of course he will eventually score many goals in the BPL. Sadly he will be lucky to even get 10 BPL goals by the end of the season with the way rashford is playing he is taking ty word selfish to a whole new level
avatar
bros gonna die of starvation
avatar
Not eating till next squad update
avatar
considering the historial of simeone with argentinian players im worried but the last two were good (de paul molina)
avatar
Especially since im pretty sure they used to be pretty consistent with two a week for a good couple yrs a few fifas ago. I remember one would just be like contract changes and one would be a big stats changing one
avatar
Crazy how there’s no update for almost an entire month tho 😂 See if they kept it consistent, like a massive update every month i wouldn’t mind but it’s so random
avatar
Bro's right here 💯 trust me he's got scary potential & it reminds me of when David Brooks was 49/62 & I kept telling users he was going to sick but they didn't believe me. A few years later both Liverpool & Man Utd were. Looking at him & he only didn't move cos he got cancer but glad he's fully recovered now
avatar
People look at his rating and potential and think he is a bad player. This guy got mad potential, it is hard getting started in Prem when you played League 1 last year.
avatar
Why is he still rated like this?? He plays in the Premier League but is rated as a League Two player.
avatar
Yeah mate you're right & it's more to do with how it would affect the teams overall but he should be like 66/82
avatar
New squad update when
avatar
Calafiori Frendrup
avatar
Long story short we have an outstanding lack of actual midfielders, CMs or fit CDMs (Partey injured, Jorginho got no legs), so Onana can't possibly not be an improvement on what we have cus we barely got anything.
avatar
Onana transfer will be more useful than meets the eye. Rice is our only physical midfielder. Onana takes the duel/defensive burden off him. He’s a transition monster bc of his length and size. Really fast for a guy of his size. And although his technical ability isn’t his biggest strength, it is more than good enough to fit into the side. His size and aggression in the air is massive on set pieces on both sides of the ball, where we have been struggling massively on the defensive side this season. Best of all, we can finally start alleviating the burden of playing LCM on Havertz. PL proven is the cherry on top. Really really good transfer, only thing that can make it better is if we supplement it with a more technical midfield signing in the summer to replace Jorginho (like Zubimendi).

67/73 Lifting this from a post on WFCForums as it really captures how he's playing more than I can articulate. I've seen enough of him now to form an opinion....and he is an enigma. Outside the box he looks like a competition winner. The game largely passes him by. He's often beaten in aerial duels, he's not really involved in any build-up play and doesn't hold the ball up at all. Yet, in the 6 yard box he's top drawer. He looks Premier League class. It's so strange to see someone that hopeless on virtually all aspects of professional football, yet is so clinical in the 6-yard box. He's quality there. I've watched how he finishes, and it's deliberate. He steers the ball away from the keeper every time. I initially thought he might be a bit lucky, when he sticks out a leg and the ball goes in wide of the keeper, but that seems to happen every time. The goal he scored last night confirmed it to me. He deliberately headed the ball wide of the keeper and into the side netting. A perfect finish. How often have we seen someone like Bayo head it from close range but straight at the keeper? Most of the time I'd say. Rajovic has a clinical skill of finishing at close range. Scoring consistently from close range is a skill. It looks easy because he makes it look easy, but he knows where to place the ball so the keeper can't get it, and has the quality to execute virtually every time. So it begs the question, if he can be so calm, clinical, composed and technically excellent in the 6-yard box, why does he look like a donkey Sunday league player everywhere else on the pitch? Like I say, he's an enigma.
avatar
EA have some work to do now, add Jimenez, Simic and Zeroli so I can play a proper CM
avatar
best of the years imo: -best game : leeds (A) 5-1 - best goal : olise vs luton - best signing : olise's new contract - best player : eze - worst player : joel ward
avatar
This guys an animal for my Pirlo Watford rebuild. Real face looks dope ✌
avatar
Dawson too slow to play outside, he’s better in the air and stronger in the tackle. Kilman good ball playing centre back, Dawson’s passing is also really good especially long passes. And tbh Kilman is pretty good with his weak foot, same again today he’s playing RCB with Bruno in the middle yet he’s right footed.
avatar
Bruv you just got smacked 4-2, get out
avatar
Come on mate. Havertz is playing really good as of lately. He really could help us here tonight
