There’s just too many issues with this team, ten Hag has had 3 years and this is just a few things I have noticed this season •Wingers are completely isolated on the ball and are ineffective with their pressing •Two midfielders sometimes one being asked to do the job of a three man midfield, don’t get me wrong Casemiro, Bruno, Mount and even Mainoo to an extent haven’t been good enough but even if all of them were on top form we’d still be losing • false 9 obsession, false 9s are great if you’re playing Elche or you have a team with goalscoring wingers and midfielders but we don’t. When your team are struggling what you need up top is someone physical to run around and be a nuisance not some hipster dropping into left back to playing little flicks. The only time Zirkzee has been effective in this first few games has been when he’s tried to get on the end of a cross These are issues ten hag should’ve been able to deal with after 1/2 windows and we’re in his 3rd year and we look just as bad as we did a year ago.
