We have an example for almost everything, but we can say that all in all, it is much harder for a GK or for a defender to not being a regular starter, but stay in always ready as you are among the first as an option B. Much harder then for forwards and midfielders, maybe because they have to read the game more, and they cannot replace it with a lot of run, with some great positioning, some good dribbling, good passes, etc. They either do their job and say stop to the opposition, or they are not 100% useful. Nacho almost always do his job and in various positions, since he can play anywhere in the defense. Deserve a lot of praise, he has a really good moral!
