That's a insane stat tbh, now watch you guys win the opening game for 11 years straight haha

Indian expert takes fifa ratings as reference for how good a player is

As someone here who *actually* watches Gent every weekend rather than just the highlights you guys watch .. He's very talented, but if we're getting an offer of 30-35M, I'd say we take the money and run. He still goes completely missing some games, feels pretty immature - already publicly whining when he doesn't start the first game of the season and I think he will struggle quite a bit if he takes an enormous step towards a club like Tottenham, especially when he'd basically be viewed as the Kane replacement. Also, you have to remember that we got him in January for 3.3M, a turnover off 10x over 6 months is beyond insane, and this is very, very big money for our club - it would equal 3-5 very high-quality additions to the squad this year and plenty of money to keep for the next few years.
avatar
I believe the best decision for him is to stay, at least until January. In terms of raw talent and statistics, he is certainly playing well below his potential. However, he possesses numerous character traits and behaviors that, due to his limited experience in European football, could be viewed as unprofessional. Although he has already made significant improvements, such as learning to celebrate with his teammates and addressing the media, there is still room for growth. He becomes extremely frustrated when he's on the bench, misses chances, or doesn't receive the ball. I don't believe this kind of behavior will be well-received or managed as delicately as it might be at Gent. Joining Spurs could make him just another player in the group, possibly causing him to miss the valuable mentoring he's currently receiving at Gent where he's the focal point of the team.
avatar
Watch out for this Gent team, who can really do some dirty this season. They've got a crazy team and even if they risk losing Orban, they've still got the crazy duo Cuypers and Tissoudali, who I think will complement each other well. Even the rest of the team is very good and knows each other well with a coach who knows this league like the back of his hand. In any case, I'll be keeping a close eye on them...
avatar
As much as I'd love him to make the jump to a bigger club, I still think one more season would do him good. His rise has been incredibly quick, so a bit of normalcy is a good thing. Still, I reckon he will be a world beater very soon.
avatar
relegated today. so sad to see the team of the 6th biggest city in Spain play in spanish 3rd division next season, all due to the fcking mooron Al Thani
avatar
Looking forward to Barfie's Leicester rebuild next season.
avatar
Peter Lim has killed my club.
avatar
Never been so starstruck by a player. He just shows up every game and does something extraordinary. Honestly don't know what to rate him atm. We'll see in a few weeks for sure. Finally we have a new diamond after Jonathan David, Moses Simon, Brian Ruiz and with Fofana on the way future looks bright
avatar
Best at getting humbled maybe
avatar
Looking at his stats in Norway and his debut in Belgium I’m gonna assume he’s HIM. Another Nigerian star🙏🏿.
avatar
Poor form and tactically a lousy coach, disagreements in the dressing room. Time to make a fresh start with different people: new coach and new players: Lavia, Onana, Trossard, Openda, Lukebakio, Theate, Faes, Trésor, Doku, Ramazani, Bakayoko
avatar
Hurts to see the way we play each week. So much work and progress that was put into this team last season seems completely lost. Not only because of injuries, but also due to a total lack of work-ethic and winning mentality... This club is sick and we need a reaction ASAP to rescue the season COBW!!!
avatar
Xabi Alonso, one of the best midfielders of the history of Spain, Liverpool and Real Madrid. Will be amazing as a manager here
avatar
Amazing at his best, what a player. Happy retirement legend
avatar
overrated piece of shit, Elyonoussi regen at max please dont buy this trash game guys
avatar
Okay, so it will be Conference League. The players simply cannot motivate themselves against teams like Omonia. This has been a problem for years, last season it seemed to be solved but apparently not.
avatar
Maradona behind R9? Wat? How? Why?
avatar
Was sadly capped by his best bud Raymond Reddington. RIP Mr. Kaplan.
avatar
I don't know, if there was a moment to renew your seasonticket it was this year, after we bought Hugo and Jordan I thought we are going to fight for the topspots. After Tissoudali's injury and the poor selection vs Westerlo I had my doubts too because off a shortness of qualitative quantity, but now with Hauge's arrival, I think we're in for a very competitive season. It just sucks that Antwerp has a decent coach now haha, Anderlecht plays better too and Genk is back in form, so it'll be a lot harder than last year to reach the play offs, but for once we got a decent start...
avatar
haha yess, it doesnt frustrate me anymore, im getting numb...
avatar
Goosebumps in the stadium, but fuck, VAR really takes away the feeling of celibration. Bezus, a Ukrainian, scoring a 94th minute goal, making it 2-1 for Ghent, absolute mental scènes in the stadium. But then you have to wait for the decision...
avatar
Real legend of the game
avatar
71/82,seems pretty good
avatar
71 rating is a disgrace
avatar
Good one, American, try not to get shot today
avatar
Swap his rating and potential with Kelleher
avatar
if we can get this guy over the line this window will have gone from 0/10 to 10/10 in the space of 3 days
avatar
Go watch ping pong cause your don’t understand shit about football
avatar
Newcastle you are literally the richest club in the world, you spent 30m for Chris Wood ffs. Nat Phillips did a Cruyff turn at San Siro, that's alone cost more than 7m
avatar
Same rating and potential as Dembele… crazy…
avatar
Quality transfer imo

Player ratings: Ali-8.5 great save, unlucky bobble on the Son goal but he was incredible Trent-7.0 had a good shot, defensively alright, and good assist for Robbo Matip-6.5 looked sluggish and didn’t hold the line well Ibou-8.0 what a player can’t say much else Naby-8.0 great attacking presence, good pressing Morton-6.5 some good passes, ghosted when we had the ball, no presence without it Milner-6.0 slow, sluggish, looked off the pace with his weak passes but he had a few good tackles Mo-6.5 not involved enough, didn’t get in any dangerous positions but was decent when he had it Jota-8.0 great header, kept working and defending, should’ve gotten a pen. Mané-7.5 full of energy, always attacking, explosive Bobby-7.0 held up the ball well and linked up play well Gomez-N/A Tsimi-N/A
avatar
Horrible bait. This is poor even for your standards.
avatar
So Leicester proved that the Premier League is a joke? It's football. Everything is possible. Union just plays fantastic. It has nothing to do with other teams in the league
avatar
You're talking like AWB is good defensively
avatar
Origi > Lukaku
avatar
You suck toes
avatar
Yeah, he missed a lot vs Antwerp as well I believe. 100% need someone better coming in.
avatar
I hope that this is a joke.
avatar
Didn't know the league finished in October but what do I know.
avatar
Hope you're proud of yourself mate
avatar
stick to American football mate
avatar
This is why u don't judge by 1 game
avatar
You accidently forgot to add an age related comment to finish the holy trinity of "sofifa lazy and lame troll jokes 101".
avatar
Another stupid American Man City fan who has never seen him play ;)
avatar
WTF is wrong with you ******* Americans???
avatar
Trent and Robertson are better crossers than Digne. Digne is a level beneath with James and Tierney.
avatar
https://sofifa.com/squad/1041384 This is more or less what you are up against, obviously missing some players but the starting lineup is there. Very limited squad, dangerous on free kicks and corners, Soumah by far with the best abilities but very out of shape, while Ricardo is a dangerous well rounded forward that can show nothing the entire game but score from one good chance. Markovic is very inconsistent but is a pain in the *** to play against on his good day. Overall best approach would be to press high, buildup fast and attack from the middle as our defence is very slow and horrible on the ball. Im expecting both matches to be tough and physical, but it should be noted that Partizan plays much better and more offensive on home ground.

Liverpool City Chelsea United ---------------------------------------------- Spurs Leicester Leeds Arsenal Villa West ham ---------------------------------------------- Newcastle Everton Wolves Burnley Brighton Palace Brentford ---------------------------------------------- Watford Southampton Norwich Thoughts?

the joke was made 5 hours ago and it is not funny. Have a good day in Bangladesh
avatar
100 mil is too much. He is good player, but i think his prize should be around 60 mil
avatar
The only Brazilian player I was glad to see crying in the pitch
avatar
bro italy dived 87 minutes long
avatar
Better than paying 85m for Maguire
avatar
So why upgrade his overall if he was bad...
avatar
Belgium's problem was players peaking at different times and outside competition years. WC 2018 is as close as they'll get this generation. Honestly believe they could have beaten France, It would have come down to Kante v Hazard in game wise.
avatar
This shows who is the better player And Carson is miles above that pasta eater
avatar
Fuck the mancs and their referees
