Hi I think it'd be good to turn off downvotes just like Youtube did, because the same argument applies here. In some cases people give their honest opinion and then get massively downvoted just because they don't agree!!! Or to make it even worse, they even do it for fun. You don't know who is behind the screen, getting a lot of downvotes might hurt his/her feelings cause he/she didn't intend that to happen, probably would have expected a sane opinions exchange. Also we can see some users here who despite of what they say, they get downvotes as soon as people see their names, and imo that's awful. The other problem is this can lead users to leave the site, cause nobody would like to be harassed like that, and you won't be happy for sure. And finally, i support what you tried to do with the auto-hiding comments, but i think it's useless rn, obviously bc you are still able to see them. But overall you are taking the right way. Keep it up and thanks
