Almost 19 🤣 as if he is growing late, you know how hard it is to break through to the first team in benfica at age 18? You have players from U18s U23s and B team all trying to get a spot. Most players only break through when they are like 20 look at ruben dias Very few players get a starting spot at benfica before they are twenty. Only world class prospects like joao felix, renato, antonio silva and joao neves manage to do it, and thats because they bring instant impact and influence in the team, renato sanches completely carried us to a title in 2016 and Portugal in the euros he was super influential. Felix carried us in 2019 and now antonio silva and joao neves have a massive role in the team as well, unless you have this type of massive influence as a youngster which is extremely hard, rare and impressive, its hard to break through so young, bellingham also had that for dormtund of course but this isnt the norm, there are uncommon amazing talents You can turn out to be an amazing player as well if you break through a couple years later, Ruben dias only got through at 20, ederson at 21, Nelson semedo 21, Gonçalo ramos at 21, lindelof 20, hell even amazing players like canceloa and bernardo silva couldnt do it and they Turned out class

obviously Serie A was stronger before, but Sassuolo is a mid table team, Juve in 96/97 won a title and Roma in 98/99 was a decent CL contender. So even if Del Piero and Totti had much better teammates, why didn't they score more than Gianluca?

Always tough to be sure how players will adapt to the Premier League, but Porro has all the raw material to be solid if ManCity take him back. Sporting may lose 3-4 of their best players this summer and put us in a tough spot to continue to challenge for the title.

That's good football by Benfica tbf

He doesn't deserve it at the moment. It's like if Messi deserved 95 finishing for years but EA didn't give to him. Then they decide to give it to him now. Like sure he deserved it in the past but currently he doesn't

He’s actually more like a 76/85, thanks for the laugh though.

He didn’t even say Hazard is/was anywhere near Ronaldinho level. He just said that both of them would have been a lot better if they had better lifestyles.

Apparently Ronaldinho used to party at nightclubs all night, then head straight from the club to training in the morning where he slept in the massage room. Similar to Hazard, a joy to watch, but could have been even better if he lived and trained like a pro athlete.

Brazil used to have great players
