Southgate is an idiot, the whole squad selection and team lineups, he’s got it all wrong. Firstly, starting off with the defence, obviously nothing he can do about Maguire being injured, but why did he decide to not choose a single natural left back that was fit. Trippier is a good player but he’s a right back not a left back. He’s naturally right footed so instead of overlapping down the left, he’ll just cut inside and pass. This takes away a potential creative outlet. Shaw’s by far our best left back by why bring him if he isn’t gonna be fit for over half the tournament (or even at all). We aren’t spoilt for choice at left back but why not bring a Chilwell, or a Mitchell, who are natural left backs it would still be better than trippier. Moving onto midfield, it’s obvious Trent isn’t a midfielder I think anyone would’ve known he wouldn’t be able to play that position properly. Mainoo has to start alongside rice, England looked far better when he came on. The frontline is another serious issue. Foden, saka, Bellingham, are all fantastic players but realistically you can only play 2 of the 3. Foden on the left just doesn’t work, it’s no where near his best position, he’s a creative midfielder not an out and out winger, and being a left footer playing on the left doesn’t help. What England really need is a runner, a proper out and out winger on the left, someone like rashford or sterling would be perfect, oh wait nvm Southgate left them both at home. At least we’ve got Gordon, nope, he’s given him a total of 6 minutes. Why did he pick 3 strikers (Kane, Toney, Watkins), when kanes obviously gonna start every game. Basically, Southgates got it all wrong in terms of the squad he’s picked and the lineups he chooses. He’s picked an imbalanced squad with a lack of depth in certain areas, while he chooses to play certain players out of position just so he can try and shoehorn them into the lineup. This doesn’t even mention the fact that Southgate has absolutely no tactics or plan. The bloke will park the bus, the minute England take the lead. Southgate is a delusion and incompetent waistcoat merchant and he will pay for his crimes to football. England is wasting its golden generation with this fraud.

Im a Barca fan but myself as a fan of football would love nothing more then to see Postecoglou succeed at the highest because forget about his style of football for a minute, because i watched 2 documentaries about him and honestly the way he's worked his way up to evolve himself as a person and a manager both on and off the pitch is just remarkable like who would've thought 13-14 years ago that an Australian U20 manager who got sacked for not qualifying them in 2007 U20 WC, and then got absolutely slammed by pundits in Australia and were demanding for his resignation on the spot on live television, would then go on and write his name in the history books in Australias top flight by winning 2 consecutive domestic top flight titles, to then become the Australian National Team men's manager and manage to win their 1st Asian Cup ever in their history to then 5 and a half years later to manage Celtic then in his 1st full season and win them the double then in his 2nd full season and then winning them the domestic treble what a great story his managerial career is the emobdiment of what hardwork,never giving up and keep improving day by day at his own job means because he was criticised and already slammed by media before in Australia and then in Scottish and english media he was clowned even before he was at Celtic Park and look how it turned out again. Fantastic turnaround of an underdog who always had pelters coming his way but he faced those pelter by throwing each one of them back when he got up again. Im rooting for u Ange GO AND GET THEM!!
