1. 15k per Week, more than enough to support himself and his family, with nice decent living. 2. He is 23, clearly still young especially for GK, young players needs more playtime, more playtime means more recognition. if he played well means he is going to a player to buy for big clubs, means more money than Chelsea could offer right now. You are ignoring good players means, they are in a position where they can get more wages they desire or close to it. 3. Not all football players, play football just for the money, they are not money hungry pigs, example Cavani won't give up his penalty taker position for 1 million, because he don't want wealth, he wants his record as an achievement, when you are playing football you want to be remembered as a hero, not a leecher who spent his time on the bench taking up wages every weeks. Just because the offer on the table doesn't mean he should take it. 4. Let's say you are an adult, If you parents offer you a money every weeks, you just have to stay at home all day, all expense paid, you are just gonna take it without any shame at all? just because it is an offer doesn't mean you have to take it. Yes it is leeching off the club, It's like you are leeching off your parents doing nothing. If you want to be football player just to leech off club by being a reserve until you are retired, you are better off leaving the club before hooligans mob your car or house. 5. Clearly money here is your own personal choice, it is a bad advice because it doesn't suits his needs, it is only suits your needs and what you think. If he wants more money then why not go to chinese club where he can get 200k per week easy. 6. If he move back to Chelsea his wages not gonna change much, because he is still reserve and nobody, nobody here means player who hasn't proved anything yet, they are not in position to bargain or determine their wages, He is not CR7 or Messi where they can ask their club more money to stay.

24 still young in goalkeeping years. Could still have a Chelsea future providing next few seasons go well.

The god is back
avatar
The rival of Spurs' U23 keeper Alfie Whiteman
avatar
If a whiteman calling out his last name in publick, it will create a lot of controversy
avatar
Once saw a black man on judge Judy Who was named Whiteman. Doesnt make it better😂
avatar
Time to re-take that picture huh?
avatar
So strange that he fits so great as a LW. Always thought he could only play in the middle. Such a talented player
avatar
not completely clueless, but i get what you mean. They have a lot of matches to play this season, wouldn't be bad to sometimes rest him for a game or two, to prevent injuries and keep him down to earth
avatar
SoFIFA doesn't give ratings lol. EA does. SoFIFA is an independent site that simply publishes the data online.
avatar
Scored his first champions league goal at on his 22nd birthday in the 22 minute . Legend
avatar
People forget how truly talented this man is. Man scored like 23 goals in the Championship as a 18/19 year old which is just pretty insane
avatar
Hasn’t really played as a CAM for England recently. It was a 433 so he was still a CM really but just had more freedom. Otherwise, I agree
avatar
That statement didn't age well at all. Regardless, Reece James is a physical beast as well as extremely technical, the pace of the Prem should be no issue.
avatar
Look guys, let's not overhype him. Yes, let's be excited for him and other youngsters from our academy who now have the chance to realise their potential. But also let us calm down a bit as our happiness & success is not digested well with others. People will always find something to nitpick with our club and hate on unnecessarily so let's not give them more reasons to. This is a long season and the window may also be shut in January for us so let us just wait for this to play out on its own without making Messis & Ronaldos of our players.

He had great numbers for tackles and interceptions before he moved to Chelsea. When he arrived, Mourinho didn't play him often because his defensive positioning is suspect and he lacked the concentration that Mourinho was required. Then he was loaned out to Schalke (if I'm honest I don't really know what happened there) and he ruptured his ACL at the African Cup of Nations. He is yet to return, but I'm not sure if he's fit and hasn't been played or if he is still recovering.
avatar
The thing is, with Stoke, he played in a more defensive role, one that doesn't really fit him. I mean, he started out as a striker at Vitesse, he is more an attacking minded midfielder than a defensive one, although you can definitely get away with playing him in a B2B role.
avatar
Absolutely, he was so promising but injuries ruined him not constant loaning
avatar
Well it's pretty though to find someone like Lampard. Let's just say that he's been very unlucky with his injuries.
avatar
I literally just told you. He'd do well on his loans, get played in preseason, then get injured. And instead of waiting, we find a replacement and then send him out on loan to recover properly
avatar
The one man to save the regista role for Chelsea
avatar
Is he ever gonna get fit again?
avatar
He didn't have a bad season at all, he just played in a team with more possession, so he was needed less in the defensive third
avatar
Lol, even Lampard knows Kante isn't a CDM. Are people still gonna claim "hEs BeInG pLaYeD oUt Of PoSiTiOn" haha fools
avatar
He should get the high/high workrate in Fifa 20
avatar
Yes, but good tackling is not what makes you a good CDM in real life. To be a holding midfielder, you have to be a player that doesn't move from your position. Kante at CDM doesn't work IRL. That's why he never plays there, it's because Kante likes to free roam and make tackles all over the pitch, CDMS have to stay in there own half defending, Kante doesn't do that
avatar
I don’t understand why people had an issue with him playing cm in a 4-3-3. That’s where he is the most effective. The only issue is that they do not have a goal scoring midfielder when kovacic and Jorginho are starting. They are a great midfield just lack one with cutting edge. Perhaps that will be RLC when he’s back.
avatar
He's honestly doing so well there under Lampard because Lampard allows him to actually drop back when he needs to, where Sarri forced him up.
avatar
"Liverpool not even trying" is that why Fabinho and some others couldn't even walk at the end of extra time?
avatar
https://s3a.sofifa.net/272e5a0692a0aefcf2beea6e7f7b81a090d23a2c.jpg He is adorable honestly
avatar
Previously, it was Drinkwater at Leicester, and Matic or Bakayoko at Chelsea playing the deeper role, neither were 6's though as Conte and Ranieri didn't play with a holding mid
avatar
No, Jorginho is a 6, the player that links midfield and defence, Kante was never that player
avatar
79 dribbling is this a joke ? just watch his super cup game last month.
avatar
6 other sheeps yeah :D
avatar
I cant wait until Ruben returns....honestly if we get our act together on set pieces and stay healthy this team can be a serious force. No other team in England has anywhere close to the talent of youth we have and there are very few anywhere else in the world. Keep this core together and healthy, spend money in key areas and then Chelsea will become a powerhouse as City and Liverpool age and fade.
avatar
Chelsea fans finally proud Kinda feel sad for musonda and solanke
avatar
Madrid came in for him. He rejected them.
