Yes, but good tackling is not what makes you a good CDM in real life. To be a holding midfielder, you have to be a player that doesn't move from your position. Kante at CDM doesn't work IRL. That's why he never plays there, it's because Kante likes to free roam and make tackles all over the pitch, CDMS have to stay in there own half defending, Kante doesn't do that

I don’t understand why people had an issue with him playing cm in a 4-3-3. That’s where he is the most effective. The only issue is that they do not have a goal scoring midfielder when kovacic and Jorginho are starting. They are a great midfield just lack one with cutting edge. I cant wait until Ruben returns....honestly if we get our act together on set pieces and stay healthy this team can be a serious force. No other team in England has anywhere close to the talent of youth we have and there are very few anywhere else in the world. Keep this core together and healthy, spend money in key areas and then Chelsea will become a powerhouse as City and Liverpool age and fade.
