They’re calling you a revisionist but they weren’t there. How many seasons did he have where he scored 13 or more goals? TWO. If you take out his 29 goal season, which was incredible, guess how many goals he averaged a season? NINE. Chelsea fans love him because of the magnitude of the goals he scored, not the quantity. Anyone who says otherwise is too young to remember him.
avatar
bro should just go back to Ajax and help them at this point
avatar
Should go back to ajax and just see his career out there and enjoy some game time
avatar
Man has suffered enough stop downgrading him he's not even playing 😂

This small team with no prospects to play high level football got destroyed by one of the best teams of the decade so far and you are here to chat shit on them. Amazing. I do believe De Zerbi's Brighton is overrated, not overrated as "it is actually shit and people gaslight themselves into believing it isn't shit", but overrated in "yes, De Zerbi is doing some very interesting work and can become a very successful manager for decades to come, but you can only do so much in Brighton". Brighton isn't playing career mode irl, where they can afford to keep their best players and all the high potential lads they keep buying are already in the 80s and fighting to the top of the league. Brighton is still Brighton. They are plotting some evil stuff by getting under the radar wonderkids before the big clubs, but again, this will only get you so far. Yes, they finished last season in 6th, but fighting for the Top 4 wasn't the natural next step, finishing 6th was completely unexpected and there is no way your goal is to fight for the Top 4 if you keep selling your best players and the replacements are the same hidden gems you decided to dedicate your club into developing to sell. Keeping the same coach isn't a guarantee that your team will keep evolving, the manager isn't the one who is going to score, create chances nor save shots. The problem with teams that overperform is that people will just assume that now this team is equally as likely to win titles as the teams who established themselves on the top years ago. Girona's goal before the season started wasn't winning La Liga and it will not be next season. Xabi Alonso made the hardest choice by staying in Leverkusen, because it is going to be insanely hard to replicate what he did this season, let alone make it better. Do you know how Leicester performed the season right after they won the PL? 12th with the same amount of points as Brighton currently has, while Brighton still has 4 games to play. TL;DR: De Zerbi isn't a shit overhyped manager, he just can't turn a mid table squad into title contenders by pure tactics shenanigans.

“The Jamie Vardy of Christian Benteke’s” - some guy I saw on twitter

2 games in a row without a goal contribution. That's rare.

Xavi said what Laporta should have said years ago. We are not in a position to demand stars or champions league trophies. We are still far away from competing with the financial powerhouses in Europe. Nothing wrong to admit that, it’s not like the fans don’t know it already
avatar
This tinpot club has more European titles than y'all
avatar
We are so tinpot that you are begging us to win so you have a chance of winning the title that you've bottled for the last 2 or 3 seasons. This tinpot beat you 3-1 and 2-0 this season. So take your tins and take your pots and shove them up yo batty claat.
avatar
We’ve finished 9th no matter what. Moyes should play half the youth academy for one last laugh. Arsenal fans should just start crying already
avatar
So what's the script for Sunday? I'm thinking West Ham lead 3-0 at halftime but City make a comeback and win 4-3 in the 95th minute courtesy of POTY Foden 🤔
avatar
Bro literally has that youth academy prospect name you found by scouting and whose value is €1,800,000

There is no one in the world that can beat or even come close to RM's UCL record, nor will there be in the near future. As long as the UCL is a knockout format RM will win far more than anyone else, so barcelonistas should stop thinking that a change of style or radical twists is the solution to winning the most UCLs, just no, because no one else but Madrid has been able to do this kind of records. All these ideas of frustrated Barcelonistas do is ironically lead us to a worse situation, as has happened before in the late 90s and early 2000s. For example Guardiola who has undoubtedly been the best coach and has led the best team in the world in recent years, has not been able to even come close to RM's numbers because they are not normal. We have to concentrate on what we do and do what we have been doing since the arrival of Cruyff, that way we will continue to win trebles and leagues, which is what we use to measure our level. We have to leave our complexes to one side.
avatar
Diehl,Woltemade,Keitel are confirmed as free transfers for next Season, we are linked with Tchaouma,Gruda,Maza,Chabot and Hezze for example

Just woke up glad to see you guys leading in the 1st leg please save football

There's been many, MANY players who've developed very late in their careers. Not saying he will be one of them but the possibility is still there.

83 is pretty terrible potential rating. The guy is 17 and already a starter in a top team. 87 at least for now
avatar
Araujo is already beyond promising he is a top 5 cbs itw for 2 years now
avatar
72/87 imo

It’s probably hard for you to watch football matches in your Hut in Nigeria so I will forgive your shit take.

avatar
This dude should be like 74 already
avatar
A esta altura ya es ridículo que Julián titular en el City tenga prácticamente la misma media y para peor un punto menos de potencial que Thiago Almada que hace casi 3 años está varado en la MLS, decadente lo de EA.
avatar
He should ATLEAST be 70 rated and ATLEAST 83 Potential realisticlly he is 73/86
avatar
Finally something that isnt point deducted in Everton 😥
avatar
the perfect partner for him in cm https://sofifa.com/player/252793
avatar
It's as simple as just putting a suspensión at The start of cm. But, of course, EA can't bother raising a finger nowadays
avatar
Dont get this obsession with Onana. His price tag is way too much for what he would offer.
avatar
Literally one of the worst upgrades ea did to a player they did him dirty ngl he deserved way way better
avatar
That’s why he said 84 potential instead of like 90
avatar
MILF. Man I Love Fermín!
avatar
Deserve 74 overall and 83 potential for now
avatar
74/83 would be more fair
avatar
Someday he will have a bad game and the calmest comment we will see here could be tried for crimes against humanity
avatar
people will hate on him hard if this happens. even tho he deserves it.
avatar
Honestly he could get +10 ovr/pot and it would be still reasonable
avatar
Of course there's no guarantee, but potential depends mostly on how good player is right now and how old he is. And he just turned 17 and is one of the best CBs in the moment. So, isn't that worth of very high potential?
avatar
Now we have players to rotate him with which wasn't the case with Pedri and Gavi some extent too
avatar
EA is so nasty that they dont upgrade him cause they are waiting for EAFC25 to do this and we will be like "Oh, the greatest uprgrade in the entire series"
avatar
Messi scored 6 goals in 22 games for Barca B. What's your point?
avatar
I'm not even going to get into the discussion of who has more fan revenue between Barça and Dortmund, if you question that then you are delusional. There is simply no point to any comment you have made so far.
avatar
Still no upgrade...

They come from different country, so they don't compete against each other. But even if they would, let's see some facts: 1. Both started to play for the first team in the beginning of January (Huijsen made debut in October, but played only 12 minutes, so doesn't matter), but after that Huijsen played 412 of possible 1350 minutes and started only 4 of 15 matches; Cubarsi played 918 of possible 1200 minutes and he started 9 of 14 matches (and he has 8 starts on the last 9 matches). 2. Cubarsi was MVP on the crucial UCL knockout match on his debut in UCL; Huijsen isn't even registered for Roma, so he didn't even play in Europa League. So the difference big, even if Huijsen is a great prospect too.
avatar
The one who shouldn't have been called up was laporte
avatar
This team is the first team i have ever seen who deserves to not get relegated and at the same time they completely desverve to get relegated
