Havent seen tooo much of him but we absolutely cannot miss out on Andre Trindade. So versatile as a midfielder
avatar
Fuck mainz
avatar
Ah, didnt know the reason behind it. Then it makes more sense. It sucks how many talented players we miss out on because of that. And the Brazilian League would have more followers if they were in the game.
avatar
Silly US. That take over seems like it won't ever happen until protests get violent or they lose even more money than the 500m
avatar
I understand your point, but not all of the things you said are correct and 100% facts. 1) Casemiro wasn't ETHs first choice option, he preferred FDJ. I doubt ETH even had a say when it came to Casemiro. Same with Eriksen, but since he was available for free, it was too good of an opportunity to miss out on. 2) ETH preferred signing Kane over Hojlund, but he wasn't available. Hojlund wasn't meant to be a regular starter from the beginning. 3) "He wanted an injured striker", he's away for. maybe 3-4 games, let him play at least a couple of matches before judging. Or are you also judging Arsenal because Timber got injured in their first game and will be off for several months? 4) Malacia was his number one option, but he was signed to be a back up and to compete with Shaw. When both Malacia and Shaw are injured, what can ETH do? It's not his fault they are injured.

good, fuck that rapist
avatar
bro his height is ok to be CB
avatar
Maguire as captain and given a 375k a week contract....
avatar
Can’t get more negative than you
avatar
He's a brilliant ball playing goalkeeper who's very composed, authoritative, etc. Slightly slow on the reflex side but seems to be all round this pre season and ever growing. Take care of him, hopefully he does well.
avatar
Nah Ornstein is THE MAN. Unreal journalist
avatar
Lmao there is nothing Maguire does that is perfect and literally anyone on the planet can pass better than that trash
avatar
100% Nordeste aqui!!
avatar
Nobody needs to hear this because it's common knowledge that he's clear
avatar
Probably gonna score a screamer now I say this, but goodness me Sancho looks bad, what happened to him?
avatar
No one knows, he literally became shit as soon as he put on the United jersey. Thought he was adapting at first but now I’ve lost all hope.
avatar
In the past it used to be like this for me. #1 GK, #2 RB, #3 LB, #4 CDM, #5 LCB, #6 RCB, #7 RW, #8 CM, #9 ST, #10 CAM/CF, #11 LW. As football has changed started to look at #7/#11 due to inverted wingers differently. #7 could also be a CM with #10 as a RW. Been conflicted for years over #4/#6 simple because in the past #6 seemed more like a CB but now I tend to see which number between the two suits the player. #1, #2, #3, #5, #8, #9 the numbers I've never been conflicted with.
avatar
Why tf is Onana number 24 instead of 1... I get its he m his preference but man it urks me for some reason
avatar
I think apart from Onana, another player that will have massive impact on how we play is Amrabat..
avatar
Looks like a bid of around £55m-£60m for Hojlund. If they accept, it would only be slightly overpriced. If they reject it, that's as high as we should go unless there's a crazy bonus like £10m for winning the CL. That would leave us with. Antony/Amad/Pellistri (Pellistri likely to leave in some capacity) Rashford/Hojlund/Martial (Martial should be sold if we can) Garnacho/Sancho/Elanga (Elanga is being sold) Usually it's healthy having one more extra attacker such as a young player. Do you think any of our young players from the U21s could be an option? Or do you think we'll slowly try to integrate Greenwood as the season gets under way as Mason isn't going to Atalanta?
avatar
Never seen a player doing a farewell post for someone who got stripped off of their captaincy until now
avatar
Bittersweet moment. He needed to go, but he is a legend and the last player who ever played for United who won under our greates manager ever. The Sir Alex Ferguson era is officially over, no one is left

Breaks my heart seeing these photographs https://twitter.com/centredevils/status/1675896961868890113?s=20

Arsenal 🤝 United Fund Caicedo to Chelsea 🥲
avatar
Cowardly and shameless behavior really if that's how it happened.
avatar
I don't get it cause Disasi ain't even that good, if we're gonna get a CB from Ligue 1 I prefer Todibo or even Lukeba
avatar
Unironically mct is the only player that may end up fetching his quoted price
avatar
Cool. https://s3a.sofifa.net/5962705659fe433f78db24d1d5a9a6227c2debb5.jpg
avatar
I think that's the actual proposal, they want us to pay a portion of it in order to secure the move
avatar
Ha-ha, love it. Our alternative is the better player and fit. https://twitter.com/utddistrict/status/1672678548828454912?s=46&t=hhrmJFtI9lqHKYFimTo7TA

So true bro it pisses me of that there is talents with big future in south america especially Brazil qnd Argentina but just don't seem to be interested at all
avatar
How it’s unclear? He was born in france
avatar
Don't want him he's crap
avatar
totally agree
avatar
If Newcastle are getting Barella for 50 million, we should drop everything and swoop in! Cheaper and better than Mount, it's a no brainer for me
avatar
100 Million are too much for him
avatar
downgrade
avatar
Martial for 15m? That would be the dream
avatar
See. It's like Pellistri. I don't understand why he's signing a new deal. He's going to end up on endless loan deals so by the age of 25, he'll have had no real career to speak of because he's jumping from one club to the next. Sell him, let him get his career on track. He comes good, great, buy him back. He doesn't, at least he's able to get on with his career.
avatar
I've never understood why buyback clauses aren't a thing in this country. You want Elanga cheap? Then we include a buyback clause and bring him back if he comes good. If you don't want a buy-back you'll have to pay £5-£10m more. tbh Elanga won't make it here so a sell-on fee probably suits this situation better.
avatar
I’d rather rely on Rashford a whole season at ST than sign Kane who has one year left at Spurs and Levy values him at £100M. Do people realize how bad this deal actually would be, especially when we need to invest into other positions as well?
avatar
is he wrong tho
avatar
Now that Jones is leaving, varnane should get no.4 and amad should get the no.19 shirt back
avatar
Ok bro, no one is reading that
avatar
this better mean the likes of Van Der Sar, Carrick and Rooney not Neville, Scholes and Ronaldo
avatar
The guy that plays for Fluminense??
avatar
Lord Farquaad Regen
avatar
Please don't come to United.
avatar
You mean shit?
avatar
Not hard
avatar
He'd be like 5th choice here we don't need him
avatar
I don't know about this mate, surely Neymar is world class and there is no debate about that, talking purely about what he can do with the ball he is definitely a great fit for a world class and ambitious team like Bayern but only thing here is just I don't think he would fit neither in Bayern's transfer-, wage- or team structure. I can't remember Bayern having ever bought a superstar with this caliber from a foreign league with high wages like that since I ever started watching football (only exception here is MAYBE just Sadio Mane last season)
avatar
It's that English hype
avatar
Not hard
avatar
Would be a good backup for Casemiro next year. We were linked to him all last summer, so Ten Hag is maybe interested in him.
avatar
DDG can still be a top gk in a defensive team, I believe he can be great in serie a ,and he still saves us some points in specific games and he is a club legend ( my opinion and don't care what others say), but he doesn't suit the style of football we are trying to play, you could see it in games against Barca and arsenal that his distribution hurt us while we were trying to get out of the press or play from the back. So I would say I love the guy but we need to move on if we want to progress
avatar
When LVG was coach there was a time when we played with Tyler Blacket , Paddy McNair, Cameron Borthwick Jackson, Donald Love, Fosu Mensah and Guillermo Varela in defence. All our "Main Defenders" like Jones , Smalling , Rojo , Shaw , Valencia and Darmain were getting injured regularly. But we still managed to squeeze wins and draws in that boring footbal era. There was one Man behind those defenders standing like a great wall and that man was David De Gea. Its easy to be a elite keeper in front of an elite defence but David De Gea was the entire defence for many seasons.
avatar
We did sign their chief scout lmfao
avatar
How come Russia gets banned when they attack Ukraine and Israel here is killing thousands of Palestinians daily and has illegally invaded the area but doesn't get banned or any restrictions imposed
avatar
Yes and no. He’s done great this season when he plays, shows he belongs in the mens game and is also showing that he can play at a higher level in a season or two in my opinion. Alvaro I genuinely think competes with Malacia as more of an attacking fullback option. While Malacia inverts. As much as I agree that playtime is important, one crucial thing that’s come to light in Alvaro’s loan spell is his tactical nativity. If he has a future here, it could be that he sees more benefit from slightly less minutes, but the coaching and first team implementation under ETH to understand our sides tactics. I don’t think it’s ridiculous to lean on him for that level of depth, given that Shaw would still be the starting LB.
