just had probably the best game of his career, and it came in a 0-0 lol. Europe-bound ASAP. 66/79
Player - Ben Old
Very very good. Get this kid in the Belgian/Dutch league and he will run rampant I swear
Player - Ben Old
Made some unreal passes lately. Would have way more assists if Zawada played more this season

Composure should be in the 90s, not many players are more relaxed on the pitch than him

I think a loan move to League 1 could be good for next season. He needs to be starting regularly

Weird red card, which should never have been given, but six points clear with five games to go, siuuuuuu. We'll unfortunately miss Rufer like hell but I hope we've given ourselves enough of a buffer
Player - Alex Rufer
He always gets given the stupidest red cards
Team - Wellington Phoenix
some key upgrades should be:
- Lukas Kelly-Heald, 63/78 (+4)
- Isaac Hughes, 58/70 (+4)
- Kosta Barbarouses, 67/67 (+3)
- Finn Surman, 65/78 (+2)
- Ben Old, 65/78 (+2)
- Scott Wootton, 65/65 (+2)
- Mo Al-Taay, 63/68 (+2)
- Nico Pennington, 63/67 or 64/68 (+1 or +2)
- Alex Rufer, 66/67 or 67/68 (+1 or +2)
shoutout to Youstin Salas, who should immediately be higher than a 65 coming into the league - I'd have him at 67, but he was sensational in his short cameo which would preclude a much higher rating

Cant immediately find a stat for it but surely 9/22 players on the pitch at the end of tonights game being Wellington club developed players must be in the ballpark of the Aleague record

Back in the A-League with Brisbane Roar. Far out I was not expecting that but good signing for them.

Best NZ prospect atm. Would be pretty cool to see a midfield with Stamenic, Garbett and Dibley-Dias

As if Newcastle once payed 30 million for the Kiwi goat and he flops for them and then he leaves just to come back and score a hat-trick against his former club. You can’t write this

wouldn't mind a cheeky 67/81 for now, though he's playing like a 70+. won A-League player of the month for November, and might win it again for December
made his first real mistake last week playing out from the back against the Victory, costing us a goal. hope the hype isn't affecting his composure or unduly raising his confidence to the point he slacks off in less demanding moments

Ngl, he may be the most impressive goalkeeper I've ever seen at this level. If he can keep up this form, no reason why he can't move abroad and become a top top goalkeeper. I really haven't seen a weakness in his game yet, you would assume aerially as he is quite short for a keeper, but he has really impressed me in his ability to deal with crosses. Glad he has been given his opportunity to be the number one for the Nix and truly thrive.

I'm not trying to hate on La Liga or anything like that but when Messi scored all those goals in the 2011 - 2012 season La Liga was not that tough outside the top four in my opinion. I think this is the case with La Liga in 2010's in general that it is top heavy and once you look past the top four maybe five teams the quality dropped off significantly.
Now it is still stronger than the current Bundesliga I agree with you on that point, but I believe there is a lot of nostalgia bias when it comes to La Liga in 2010's with people only remembering the heights displayed by Real Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, and Atletico Madrid. Although, they forget how large of a drop off there was from those teams to all of the others in my opinion.

Man United has the reverse Midas touch.
Everything they touch turns shit.
I wonder how much will this guy be able to handle before he turns into prime Havertz.
Of all signings since SAF’s departure, only a few players remained class. Bruno Fernandes is the sole example that still remains in the club. Even Ronaldo became a piece of turd in this cesspit club.
Player - Rasmus Højlund
Midryk scored twice this season but him well
Higher potential than Ferguson, Alvarez and Boniface just to name the few lol
Player - Rasmus Højlund
You’re just weird, this comment makes no sense at all. He was overhyped in social medias, definitely but that doesn’t mean I believe it. Why would I believe it? I’m not a United fan for crying out loud, you’re just daft.
Player - Rasmus Højlund
He was overhyped as hell, especially us Italians who watch serie a. All of us said that he shouldn’t go to United just yet because he was still developing but you go on social medias and you see United fans hyping him as if he was the second coming of Christ
Player - Rasmus Højlund
Idk where you got that "overhyped irl" from, I've never talked about his irl qualitites, just about him being overrated in game
Player - Rasmus Højlund
It's not anger
0 Prem and 9 Serie A goals doesn't warrant anything close to 90 potential for a striker, simple as that
Player - Virgil van Dijk
Hear me out when I say this
Someone players become elite for a small number of years but in that time they reach the title "world's best" like for example Ronaldinho reached a level for about 3 years where he was untouchable & everyone knew he was the best but that only lasted a small number of years. When you compare what Ronaldinho it's nothing like what Messi & CR7 did where they became the best & stayed the best for their entire careers. It's a similar thing with Virgil cos he had like 2 years at the very top then he dropped off. U get people calling him the best ever but there is players like Rio, Terry & Adams (plus many more) who did what CR7 & Messi did where they became the best & stayed the best. Virgil will always be remembered as a legend but in no way should be ever be called the greatest
