The one benefit to Kola was that he was on a free, so the wages balanced themselves out. And with him being such a great player in the Bundesliga, it was a real steal to get him that way. Problem is, he hasn't really fit our system, and with the inclusion of Tierney and improvements of Saka, I can't really see him being needed anymore. ANY sum we get for him, in my eyes, is a bargain for us But you're absolutely right. There are a ton of players on massive wages at this club who aren't equating it to performances. Ozil needs to be offloaded if we are to survive, but from what his agent has been saying, he'll hold on till his contract expires, essentially robbing us of ANY transfer fee to recoup the losses, and essentially drain us for next year too. Benching a player on his wages is incomprehensible, but he's too inconsistent with his performances and just isn't up to snuff. Yesterday, he tried SO many silly flicks and tricks, and screwed them all up. Then, an Olympiacos player would pull off exactly what Ozil was trying with ease, and you really wonder what he brings. That game yesterday was where we needed him to grab the game and pull us through it. Auba was trying, so were a few others, but Ozil is our 'star', yet he was so dim when it counted. This summer may see an exodus of those high-earners, and I'm hoping it happens. Players like Laca, Ozil, Elneny, Mkhi, and one of our CB's (mustafi or sok) should probably be thanked and moved on. The biggest loss would be Auba, and I would give all our wages to that guy to keep him here, but I very much doubt he'll stay. Going to really need to play it smart this coming summer

If we win the FA cup we are guaranteed european football with EL. If we finish 6th and the 5th place gets CL we should also get EL. I am real sick and tired of EL games but tbh we are no CL club atm. We have a lot of CL wages for players that have mid club abilities. We need a clear out of the squad and do smart recruiting. We need to bin Sokratis, Özil and Kolasinac. The wage of Kolasinac is skyhigh for what he contributes. Not good enough and worrying injury record.

This guy is that player you create when you first play Fifa with 99 in every stat but in real life, Seriously though, Halands confidence is soaring and he is a pure out and out striker, he has got an incredible Record and I would love to see him do this all over the world in the future Keep up the great work Haland

Really everything you said is true. I say he can just go around as DeBruyne you know ? I wish him all the best and let him start playing good football.

I can't see any similarities with De Bruyne. Kevin de Bruyne was loaned back to Genk after he signed with Chelsea. He impressed. After his loan to Genk, he was immediately loaned out to Bremen, where he instantly became a key player (Bremen trying their best to sign him). Kevin de Bruyne only 'lost' a half year in his career, before he was bought by Wolfsburg and became a starter and key player again. Halilovic made one bad decision after another. First signing with Barcelona (well, ok, not necessarily a fault) instead of becoming a key player with more experience for his home club. His loan to Gijon was a good decision though. His move to Hamburg was insane. Hamburg is a sleeping giant, but very chaotic for the last ten years and almost every good player failed to settle in with that chaotic surroundings. Instead many (critized) young players left the club and became successful in other topclubs (Boateng, Tah, Calhanoglu, Son, Demirbay, Kompany, just to name a few). He should have signed with a smaller club just like Gijon was back then. He was sent away just after a half season and was stuggling to settle in at Las Palmas, but, just when he finally started to play a little bit better, he signs with the next chaotic club.

79 is too drastic

It's either Copa America to show he still holds some stamina or else he is finished, it could be 81/81 or 84/84 depending the outcome. He's pretty much done anyways, he'll spend the rest of his career in the MLS or China League from 2020-21 till the end

inter because he is not good enough for Athletico
