Massive respect to you lot. Arsenal were better and more deadly than City as a unit, but somehow the favour always goes for Pep, as seen in the Tottenham game. City often gets sloppy defensively but never get punished. Arsenal had most goals and clean sheets but still not enough.
avatar
That's rivalry though right. We all have the right to banter each other. I actually wanted Arsenal to win the league this season (once it became clear that we wouldn't), and you certainly haven't bottled it. City are just damn relentless (which is exactly why I preferred Arsenal to win it). I think all this stuff has just been escalated with social media and people jumping on the bandwagon (though some Arsenal fans haven't made the club more likeable). As for the European stuff, I wouldn't swap our 2 UCLs for 10 Prems, seriously.
avatar
Right I thought best to let everything settle rather than just end up arguing with troll accounts about us apparently somehow bottling the league, but a few takeaways from all of this... 1 - I'm actually getting bored of this European pedigree argument, yeah ours isn't great, and obviously I would love to win a European trophy, which team and fanbase wouldn't, but at the end of the day a trophy is a trophy ffs, each one only counts as one, and we are still the third most successful English club in that regard, so a certain other London club needs to pipe down 2 - been saying it all week to Spurs fans I know, the majority of the Spurs fanbase, weak small club mentality, I know plenty of Spurs fans and I only know one who didn't want to lose against City, to want your own team to lose just to spite your rivals, regardless of any chance of a Champions League place, shows the ambitions of the fans at the very least 3 - the bottling thing is just boring at this point, last year yes we bottled it at the end of the day, but some people really need to get their heads checked if they think bottling a league is being in the title race but not winning. "If you didn't lose to Villa", the team that have placed 4th, have some top players in their squad, and at the end of the day played well. If City didn't lose to Wolves they also would've won the league regardless of the Villa result, but had we beaten Villa, would anyone be saying City bottled the league cos they lost to Wolves? Ultimately I just think it's tragic how many rival fans are obsessed with us, focus on your own club's failings at the moment, like how United and Chelsea have dropped into midtable and are scrounging for any European spot, and Spurs are again being called out by their own manager, and Liverpool actually bottled the league with their manager leaving and best players aging I can't believe we're seen as a shameful fanbase for thinking we might have won the league and have ended up giving ourselves the chance to win it all the way until the final day, and as I said as the third most successful club in English history, there is certainly a good chance we could've and hoped to do it, sadly doesn't look like we will this year, but we go into next season with big ambitions and go again hopefully Sorry for the long comment and if you read all that thanks lol, I'm just actually so fed up of rival fans with 0 real ball knowledge and who clearly chronically live online trying to banter us and talking out of their asses

FREE PALESTINE 🇵🇸

I think Arsenal playing terribly by their standards created that illusion.

How is it two faced? I like both groups of fanbases and I don’t hate Arsenal or spurs fans….. I’m a Fulham fan. Arsenal or Tottenham aren’t my rivals. I hate the fans who gave Fulham shit about losing to city. Other then that, I don’t mind either group… Edit: for the record, I was very upset at the amount of shit Fulham received by people on instagram/X when we lost.

Imagine having this amount of audacity whilst playing mate ball in a 1-0-9 formation and having didgeridoo Brendan rogers as manager.....

Haters are also gonna isolate that penalty to say that the refs are helping us while simultaneously ignoring the potential red card challenge earlier, Christie after that did two more fouls and no yellow even lmao
avatar
How did your country commit war crimes and get away
avatar
Even though I’m a United fan I actually want Arsenal to pull it back and win the Prem because City winning the Prem every year is just boring at this point lol
avatar
This is the team Ozil and Sanchez deserved
avatar
Still can't believe it he was dog shit first half vs Chelsea but turned into prime RVP in the second half, he probably read his Sofifa comments at half time
avatar
Keeping it 100, he isn’t good at a lot of things but what he is good at he excels at by a lot. Overall his best position is undoubtedly striker but he lacks the confidence in that position. So many moments you can tell he hesitates and overthinks which waste’s valuable seconds. He just needs to stop looking for options and trust his instincts more and shoot whenever he’s in the box or has a shot on goal as his striking technique is actually good. Perfect rotation option with a better striker or be used as a second striker when in need of goals. More clutch than anticipated.

Rice is so fucking good, man. He's a one man army

Odegaard and Rice the only ones doing something today

Dribbling isn't just dribbling attribute, Modric has 88 reactions, 91 agility and 92 balance. Meaning he'll do way way way better on the ball when passing players. Dribbling attribute on its own just dictates whether the player be able to keep the ball close when he's dribbling it and whether he'll be able to change directions fast when input is given. Havertz has equal dribbling to Modric in open space, he's abysmal at tight places in comparison, with these stats.
avatar
Average Israeli response
avatar
Zinchenko is the right footed TAA except he can't even pass or cross. He's just playing like a high school player. no responsibility or awareness. just vibes
avatar
damn hate when people bring out the laser pointers, so childish
avatar
Why are we giving so much stick at this Ukrainian kid?😂 Bit harsh lads
avatar
Ok boys we are up a goal. Time to sit back for 75 minutes and soak it all up.
avatar
81 finishing is too low Bro finish his entire team
avatar
They have a teenage keeper in net. Xhaka boomies every five minutes.
avatar
Everything changes when a player or two comes back from injury. I don't know what Klopp says too them, but long may it work and continue. But yeah football is great though for the reasons of its unpredictability, except for Liverpool owning United thats always assured 😉 Good luck with trying for the EPL trophy because only one match day I won't be rooting for you guys unfortunately 😂
avatar
I have no other way to compare bro, the only other British team we played and beat this season was newcastle 3-0. Notheless theres no comparison needed really, rn we would already beat chelsea to a pulp easily, with what happened to enzo? Oh we would fucking rub their shitty faces on the grass. I just hope we get them in the quartes of the CL so we can fucking annihalate them and show enzo how much of a dumb money whore piece of shit he is.
avatar
Worse performing? Lmao not only is chelsea worse performing atm chelsea is worse all time, benfica is a top 10 club oat when chelsea isnt even top 20. The only thing chelsea has on us is oil money, oh and of course Daddy abromovichs russian gaz money. Thats all they are, no identity, no history, they dont produce talent, they have the luck to exist in london, thats why they had any sucess, because investors saw a pile of garbage club in a rich City Arsenal > Totenham > West ham > Hell even millwall has more identity

Mitoma>>>>> gakpo

I can't hate on what you guys are building. I've tried to be critical, but the proof is in the results and performances. You lot have come a long way.. Happy for you. It's beautiful to watch unfold. I hope we can get our rebuild going and do battle like the old days ❤️
