What a fucking waste of a signing. It’s not that he’s not good that’s not the case. It’s that everybody we play barring Liverpool just sit back and try to break. They double up and even triple up our wingers. Grealish best attributes is his one on one ability, vision and passing. From a LW role where he’s hugging the touch line he can’t do anything but retain possession. I prefer Foden LW because he can stretch the opposition, run in behind, cross the ball with his left. It didn’t make any sense from Pep to buy him knowing he’d be ineffective in 90% of games. I can see him having a huge game against a Madrid, Bayern, Liverpool but he’s gonna get doubled every game. No striker + no runners means we’re not a threat in transition or in behind. If Grealish can work harder defensively maybe he can play in midfield but at LW he won’t even get 15 G/A ever

I got a lot of downvotes on my comment, but I still can't wrap my head around it. Trevoh Chalobah is a better player than Timber. Timber plays againts part time footballers whilst Chalobah plays in a fast paced league againts some of the best players in Europe. A fair rating for Chalobah would be 78/87 and Timber 76/85.
