We signed him after he had a statistically exceptional season for Benfica, but when you actually look at a compilation of those goals, you'll find there's a good amount of luck associated with them. Few of them were composed finishes, just chances he snatched at like he does now with the main difference being that they were hitting the back of the net then. It's concerning that he hasn't improved in that aspect ever since he's arrived and I feel he'll always have erratic finishing. Is he a bad player? Probably not. But I feel like it might be better for him to try his luck elsewhere.

I have to disagree. Szoboszlai’s pressing this season has been immaculate, and Slot likes his most advanced midfielder to be dynamic and mobile. Macca isn’t slow, but he’s not Dominik Szoboszlai. Macca has been good in this facilitator role alongside Gravenberch. Macca also played the large majority of his matches in a double-pivot alongside Caicedo.

Statistics wise very dominant and better in every aspect compared to Milan. Still see room for lots of improvement in Arne his game. Doesn’t fully looks like his signature style yet. That’ll come later though

Pep has blood on his hands for what he did to Grealish. He managed to turn one of the most exciting dribblers in the Prem to a cutback merchant. Mac is going to play on though injury for the Argentina NT. Half our CBs and more defensive minded midfielders have legs made out of Weetabix and all we've managed to do this window is grab one goalie that won't even feature for us and an injury prone winger. Not to mention actively get rid of any potential cover for our more fragile players. Are we sure Carol wasn't up for taking up the post of Sporting Director?

2,5/10 the signings of chiesa and mamardashvili are good but not what we need imo we need a defender and a midfielder but neither is going to happen.
