I think we should still definitely consider a left back. We’ve only seen Timber play a few games for us and most fans already think he’s destined to be our left back for years to come. Who knows what kind of affect this injury will have on him, similar to Bellerin. We have no idea how good or bad he will be next season. We also don’t really know if he can play left back that well since we’ve only seen him play 2 games there.

I think it will take more. Atletico have a pretty straightforward schedule, but have Athletic and Real Sociedad left along with Dortmund and maybe more if they go on in the CL. Athletic have the same, but visit Atletico and Getafe while also hosting Villarreal. Barcelona might be the team that slips up considering they still have CL and visit Real and us, along with hosting Real Sociedad. But the key detail is that you can’t really guess how Barcelona will do against a lower placed side. It’s pretty hectic, so we’ll have to see. For April at least, Girona should aim for beating Cadiz and Las Palmas at least. Try to grind out a point at least in the Metropolitano. I think 80 points should be enough for CL.

Pedro Neto is another that would have been seemingly perfect if not for injury. Diaby was another I was hoping for that didn’t materialize for better or worse. Arteta wanted Raphinha but he chose Barca. Bailey has had a resurgence, but there are questions over his character I won’t speak of because of lack of intel. Kubo, Bowen, or Olise are interesting options if available. Bakayoko has gained interest although I haven’t seen him play enough to comment. From there Soulè, Edwards, Adeyemi, Tsygankov may be options but might be more underwhelming for the most part. I’ve seen a lot of comments about Nico Williams and other predominantly right footed wingers but, not for me in this system. Who’s your pick?
