He’s probably Chelsea’s most improved player from the start of the season. He’ll probably never reach Kante levels defensively, but his passing and technical abilities can be better than Kante’s over time. The money might have been well spent long term.

The squad has had fatal flaws in it for the last 5 years. Tuchel has been here for 2 transfer windows and we've spent most of those 2 failing to get the targets he asked for.

I'm not the biggest fan of Tuchel, I think the criticism in certain areas is a bit harsh. The main reason for Bayern's decline since 2020 has been poor squad planning, and we were never going to win the Bundesliga this season anyway because Leverkusen have just been too good. More points than last season and being minutes away from a UCL final with an injury riddled squad isn't awful.
