I will only respond to the points you made, that I dont agree with or that are based on non facts, for obvious reasons. You say that he has had a history of being biased against Messi, however.. Yesterday he saved Messi on multiple occassions where he should have received a yellow, most noticably the hand ball. To add to that, he gave Messi literally every call and a lot of his teammates, even when they were barely touched. This was painfully clear to see, only Argentinean fans dont want to admit that. You just cant assign a Spanish referee in a match with a Spanish speaking team, as well as most players having played in Spain for ages. 30 to 18 fouls you say, which is only because of him allowing a lot more from your players, opposed to ours. If we were to receive the same treatment it would be pretty much the other way around. Paredes indeed should have not received a red for that ball at the bench, but a yellow for sure, which eventually should have been a red with the type of fouls he committed after that. And not only him. Should we have had a red card as well? Yes. Should you guys have had multiple reds? Yes. You guys played better, I agree, but the influence this referee had on this match can NOT be denied. I get it, you guys dont want anything taken away from your win, but the bias against us from this referee simply cant be ignored. In 2014 the loss was accepted, because there was no influence from the ref towards any side. Anyways, goodluck lol, hope Croatia beats you guys haha.

So you mean basically his entire career? Played well as a Giroud/Dzeko type striker in the Netherlands for several clubs. He did very decent in Wolfsburg for what he is/was. A tall target striker and goalscorer. At sporting he's basically a legend as he took a horrific team at least to third place every season. He had to leave when fans of the club started bullying players on trainig fields. Same season when players like Martins left for free due to these hooligans. After that at Eintracht and Brugge he became too old for his style of play. He has his worth as a backup in Brugge but honestly would not be surprised if he ends up as a 2nd striker in the Dutch league in 1/2 seasons somewhere midtable. To say he had a few decent seasons is not giving him credits for a few really great 'Tor' seasons at Wolfsburg and the absolute fan favourite status he had in Portugal

He's still England's and united top goalscorer ever. He relied a lot on his power and pace; but he's had a lot of injuries and also didn't take care of himself well enough, he can still ping a pass and has the aggression but players aren't all Ronald's and Ibrahimovic's, if anything wazza hasn;t declined rapidly at all, think of how in 3 years ronaldinho went from Ballon d'or to winning at barca to getting chubby back in brazil. Rooney went 12 straight seasons scoring 10+ goals, to have a 12 year period when you're one of the top players is fulfilled really...

In game the CF is in between a striker and a number 10, but a striker is treated like a true out and out forward so his heading ability, strength, and shot power is worth more at striker where as a CF is valued more for their creative attributes.
