172cm? Well, now he can fully join the likes of Messi, Lautaro Martinez etc in the Can't-Reach-The-Top-Shelf-In-The-Supermarket, club. Imagine being Inter and having to take indirect free kicks and corners and having Martinez and Barella in the opponent's box. My God.

Amazing match against Salernitana. Now, as is custom with Lautaro Martinez, he'll likely won't score for the next 3 to 5 matches and will mostly score against weaker teams after that and then people will still pretend he's amazing. I would however, like to be surprised by Lautaro and see him do well against all sorts of opponents, be they weak or strong since he will need his first, proper, top season in which he's good all season round or as close to that as he can get. He hasn't had a season with much consistent goalscoring yet and is still known as Lautaro ''purple patch'' Martinez due to this. You would expect him to finally get a consistent good season at his age. I mean, he's already 26 years old so it needs to happen while he's in his prime or he will remain purple patch player.

Julian Álvarez has fewer chances of scoring because he also plays on the wings, something that Lautaro does not do because the bull almost always stays in the area or goes down to midfield very little. Furthermore, Lautaro had about 3 chances to score and none of them were concrete, if he lost that final Lautaro would have been harshly criticized. Higuain even scored goals in the 2014 World Cup, imagine how Lautaro would have been beaten by the fans since he didn't score a single goal and missed more than 10 chances in the entire World Cup.

He is one of the most talented and versatile Italian midfielders and he is still massively underrated by EA. His sprint speed, shot power, long shots, heading accuracy, strength, agression and curve are way, way too low right now and do absolutely not match reality. In reality, Castrovilli is very fast: he can even reach more than 30 km/h (Source: https://www.violanews.com/social/qualita-e-quantita-e-di-castrovilli-lathletic-performance-viola-di-settembre/). This would correspond with at least 80 sprint speed, which is justified if you have seen him play. Acceleration should also be higher (also 80 or even higher), he moves very quick over relatively small distances. I have watched him quite a lot and his shot power is relatively very high: his shots are very fierce and powerful and hence his shot power should be at least 80 as well. Nevertheless, he should improve in terms of shot accuracy, but his long shots should be still at least 70 as he has shown to be able to score from distance. Last season, he scored with his head twice (and these chances where not that simple), so heading accuracy should be at least more than 65. Although he is not very strong, 44 strength is way too low. The same applies to agression: he has quite some "grinta" and the desire to win the ball back, so I would say he should have at least 70 agression. This is also a kind of a drawback for him, because he has received quite some yellow cards due to lack of defensive composure / too much agression. Curve 58 is also way too low, this should be at least 70. His height is ~185 cm, so EA should also upgrade his height :) Interceptions and stamina should get a substantial upgrade too. He is in the Top 25 in terms of distance covered in Serie A last season. On average, he coveres almost 11 kilometres each game (Source: https://footballbh.net/2020/05/19/gaetano-castrovilli-20192020-scout-report-tactical-analysis-tactics/). Crossing, finishing, reactions, balance, jumping, positioning, composure and standing tackles should each go up with ~5 points. Dribbling, ball control, sliding tackles, short passing, long passing and vision should also go up with a few points. Overall rating: 80 - 82 and Potential: 86 - 88 Minimum ratings 2021 (80/86): https://sofifa.com/player/10492126/gaetano-castrovilli Maximum ratings 2021 (82/88): https://sofifa.com/player/10318890/gaetano-castrovilli
