Some Unholy War

Been looking at homegrown players Spurs could sign. I know there's lots of talk about Gallagher but one player who I think it would be worth looking into is Matt O'Riley at Celtic. He's homegrown due to his time at Fulham and his stats have been fantastic this season. He played more of a 6/8 role under Ange at Celtic but this season has been more of an 8/10. Since he worked under Ange he maybe more comfortable adapting to his methods. However, he may not be the dedicated 6/ Bissouma replacement that some want. With Ito moving to Bayern, a LB who has played LCB is Archie Brown. He currently plays for Gent and is homegrown due to his time at Derby. I think Davies is fine as a backup LCB for another season but may struggle at LB. Brown could be a rotation option for Udogie. He provides something a bit different by going outside whereas Udogie plays as an inverted fullback who rarely crosses. Obviously that's how Ange wants him to play so Brown would have to adapt to this. But he seems to have all the physical traits and is more athletic than Davies.

Not at all. Really only shown poor mentality at United and it’s safe to say that has more to do with the environment of that club than anything else.
avatar
United selling sancho for 40. Wouldn’t be opposed to it tbh if he’d lower his wages a bit
avatar
I actually don’t think Juventus are a better club atm than Villa.
avatar
i'm just so excited to see which team will spend 100m on this fraud
avatar
The way people actually think this guy is better than Garnacho just shows how people on this website follow opinions blindly just to appear smart and different 😭 No you do not watch Frosinone and no he ain’t better than Garnacho. Fact.
avatar
Kulu, and then sub Neto half time, if u start Neto he would only play half of the matches every season. He is a injury prone player
avatar
I am disappointed at what Spurs did here. Doing this Game Theory BS, if Everton are just going to refuse to play him anyways to not meet the appearance clause, just void it then. Did so much for the club, he has been picking himself, least you could do is void a payment, that probably will never be paid anyways, so he can actually get some game time with Everton. Would have been great initiative on our end to show we still care about our boys
avatar
Nobody's paying over 50m for a 26yo with only 5 career goals against any remotely decent team (Porto, Benfica, Braga, Atalanta)
avatar
why does he have 95 jumping XDDDDDD thats so fucking overrated. they leave sprint speed at 86, reflexes at 75 and shot power 81 but then give him the best jumping in the game when even joao neves has a higher aerial duels % than him lmao EA beeing EA
avatar
Sure fella I’ll be back here later this year when he inevitably flops in the PRem
avatar
Remember when people were hyping up Ramos last year for tearing this league apart and now he only has like 5 goals this season? This guy is gonna flop just as bad once he gets a big move, clear as day. Both basically the same type of striker too lmao
avatar
Proper Northern man bossing the moor's league
avatar
Ur economy relies on us drinking ur wine and using ur beaches, thanks for being good moorish servants 👍
avatar
Real Madrid fans will never get over the fact the GOAT played for their rival and dicked them several times
avatar
Him or pedro neto to Arsenal this summer? Think Nico would be the best option, netos injuries is concering me
avatar
Am I the only one who thinks he should be 77/86 still? He’s great going forward, but has made at least 6/7 clear errors this season, directly leading to goals. 80 is far too steep at this moment.
avatar
all the romanians on instagram begging for him to play. well here is your answer. came on for 10 minutes and played even more recklessly than romero. almost conceded a stupid penalty, should’ve been a foul on the edge of the box, and conceded a goal. and the way how he runs look clunky as fuck.
avatar
So glad he left us
avatar
Jokes on you Im not even South African, and Im part African, and South Africa wasn't made by the white men, the whites came, colonized and stole, just like they did in all of Africa, your precious ''queen'' used to wear expensive jewelry all stolen from Africa, you live on our resources, but if we woke up, your time will be done and we all know that, football is a great example, imagine all the African players played for there real countries, many of your white man power houses would turn into white men farmers

Shit trophy-less club
avatar
He should just stay at genoa instead of going to spurs because unlike spurs genoa actually have trophies. He is a great player but should move to milan or napoli
avatar
Spurs signing 71 rated players? Truly a finished club....
avatar
Why would he step down after reaching clubs like milan and juve Tottenham is just like genoa or even worse atleast genoa has titles and way better fans
avatar
lol celebrated like he won the champions lg with that goal down to make it 4-1
avatar
Celebrating like that while you’re 4-1 down and your teammate lays on the ground “injured”. Bottomfeeder mentality
avatar
people are glazing him like if he is playing in a top 5 league
avatar
not hard when you play with 12 men
avatar
Irrelevant. They were up there when they received the first gift and City being denied a very good opportunity to secure another two points could have a direct impact on the title race.
avatar
Hooper ball, more like. Man's literally gifted you a result against title rivals twice this season.
avatar
The worst var decision ever, llorente handball vs city, todays city advantage.,lamela diving vs Liverpool Spurs Lowkey get help a lot
avatar
Mickey Mouse 76/84
avatar
Your purple patch so fucking over. Good luck in mid table.
avatar
ange is getting exposed things you love to see
avatar
People really thought these eternal losers were title contenders as if they're not literally Spurs lol.
avatar
Overrated 68/79
avatar
They actually gave him a legend level overall because of half of a season 😭😭😭 eager to watch the biggest overall drop of all time when Pvaratskpelia fails to deliver Papoli good numbers
avatar
yall be some dookie shart
avatar
I have absolutely no sympathy for players like Kane and Zaha. They moan and try to engineer moves away, yet at the same time keep committing themselves to long-term contracts. People blame Levy but Kane needs to take more responsibility for pricing himself out of a move. The only player I've seen do things right is Haaland, rejected moves from several top clubs in favour of Dortmund with a release clause to prevent himself being priced out. and had his pick of clubs. Caicedo is the same, pleas to leave in January, then signs a new long-term contract in March, wants to leave in the summer and prices himself out of a move in which only Chelsea seem willing to pay.
avatar
the simple answer is that he's a winger.

Stunted t8 growth at Real. Stunted t8 growth at Juve. Stunted t8 growth at United. Stunting t8 growth at Al Nassr. Wish more fans knew the difference between performing well individually vs for the collective. There's a reason Benzema and Modric had glow-ups in their 30s and won a Ballon D'or after he left. There's a reason Al Nassr had 27 goals in 13 games before he arrived. 10 from Talisca. 17 from the rest of the team. Now it's 6 for Talisca and 6 goals from the rest of the team. In the same no. of games. And a reason why United look better once he left. If he was still there Rashford wouldn't have gone on that scoring run (instead of going for goal himself he would be constantly looking for Ronaldo) and MUFC would probably be 6th or 7th right now.
avatar
No I wasn't
avatar
Fullbacks are so so overrated in FIFA. This guy doesn't deserve more than 80.
avatar
mudryks clear of 38 year old penaldog tbf
avatar
Its a glitch. Inshallah this fraud will be back to 87 where he belongs.
avatar
Nah I don’t trust him. We’d need another load of new types of players in, and he was dreadful with a decent Spain side. Tiki taka has also had its day, most teams know how to play against it.
avatar
Lucho is a good manager but not a great one. Its so odd how people defended every single strange decision of his since the beginning of the Euros, as if he is a revolutionary to the sport or something. In his 10 games as Spain manager at a big tournament, he only managed to beat Slovakia and Costa Rica in normal time. For a country of Spain's level, thats seriously poor, and yet people on the Internet loved to claim that he was ever doing a great job. I've even seen people claim that Spain's players aren't good enough these days, as if many even knew who players like Ounahi were before this tournament and yet they got knocked out by them, and as if it wasn't his choice to start players like Gavi over more experienced players. Santos got so much criticism for getting knocked out by Morocco when his Portugal side were creating chances at least, instead of all that backpassing that Spain did. People speak about how young Spain's team is, even though it was his decision to bring a young team. His job, from when he began 4 years ago, was to get the best out of them for this World Cup, and so using this World Cup to "prepare for the future", instead of maximising current experienced players doesn't make sense. Its odd how Enrique has been defended so much by people these days, considering how I remember that people were reasonable when it came to criticising him in his Barca days, and I'm not sure whats changed since then.
avatar
People are pissed that he destroyed their plans to celebrate Messi's loss. But he stood in between. If Messi has the world cup this lad has the biggest hand in it. He literally made the Messi haters to cry. He's the reason they'd cry till their death. He's done things which will get him hate but the hate he's getting most hate is from Ronaldo fans who are pissed that Messi won the World Cup.
avatar
5 penalties. And stop crying France got the same number of penalties in 2018. Maybe it was your first world cup but hey atleast do some research.
avatar
Lol why go to one shit team to another he rather go to Newcastle if that's the case
avatar
He got possessed with Prime Calabria genes by Joao Felix as soon as he joined Tottenham
avatar
I just don’t see it going well https://twitter.com/tottenhamtiers/status/1633888240200499201?s=46&t=OXefLZlKP26jHJcKdh8A5g
avatar
my god hes shit. And my club has Dest and Calabria
avatar
He is so bad wth
avatar
maybe united can give spurs Maguire and Henderson with 30m for him (maybe martial too)
avatar
went from the biggest club in brazil to the smallest in portugal 🤣🤣🤣 https://s3a.sofifa.net/a6f7b8da13e7920d7bf50d87f30e6e302f1a7356.jpg https://s3a.sofifa.net/8518cb7001f7d78b21b421424b33df94db179713.jpg

Should also have gotten a small downgrade to his sliding tackles since he not only lunges in more which explain his aggression upgrade, but he also misses sliding tackles more often, hence why he's more of a risk. Journalists of the Athletic (most reputable UK football news source), said something to the extent of: ''I bet his opponents aren't the only ones scared of him.'' They were referring to the fact that he takes too much risks with those sliding tackles of his in which he lunges in. If he stops taking too many risks while tackling/sliding, he can become and remain one of the better CB's in world football. Despite that, I wouldn't recommend putting him next to someone like Chelsea's Koulibaly who also makes too many fouls because that would be suicide next to Romero as a CB duo. A more composed/experienced CB like van Dijk would work better.
avatar
He plays in the portuguese 3rd division and can't get a chance at Sporting, he is nowhere near the biggest wonderkid at CAM. Even your country has a bigger wonderkid in his position, Arda Guler.
avatar
Imagine he gets upgraded for looking good in this league. I mean it’s not hard to understand he was shit in the World Cup, prem, and Europa league, so now that he’s doing good in a nonexistent league we shouldn’t be excited.
