Gravenberch for €25M to Liverpool seems fair. You get rid of a player who's on the track to regression, Liverpool get a player that can revamp his career under JK. Win-Win for both clubs involved.
avatar
I would respectfully disagree, but football is all about opinions.

I'm not writing this about Tuchel as a reaction to our recent poor form. Obviously I don't blame him for that, I blame the upper management for throwing a manager (any manager) into the club at this key moment of the season. You can't expect a manager to come in and suddenly get the team running. The point of my comment was to throw mud at the upper management for throwing this season away. I then go on to say that Tuchel is tactically a horrible fit. Nagelsmann fits us way better than Tuchel. He wasn't good enough, sure, but he's a progressive manager at least. Tuchel is the German Simeone. I don't need to "give it a chance" before forming an opinion on this massive decision. Would you take Simeone in now? If no, why not? If yes, then what have you been smoking? I'm far past trusting the ones in charge that they know what they're doing. I'm putting my neck here on the line and predicting that Tuchel *will be* (not has been) a massive failure, and not because he's a bad coach, but because he doesn't fit our philosophy.

If Monaco accepted to let you have Nübel back last winter you would have lost 5-0 yesterday.
avatar
too much drama in this season i can definitely say this is the worst season ever in past 10 years, start with Lewa's departure, Gnabry sh!t after extension, starting the season without proper 9, Muller benched, Mane not performing, Mane injured, Mazraoui injury scare, Neuer injured, long-serving GK coach sacked, Nubel drama, Sabitzer drama, Gravenberch drama, bad 2nd half, after finally performing a masterclass vs PSG, Nagelsmann got sacked for ridiculous reasons, Cancelo inconsistent, Choupo injury prone, OUT OF DFB, SOON TO BE OUT OF UCL, and theres a real chance losing bundesliga
avatar
Bayern was still in the game up until Upamecano’s collapse. They didn’t even play that bad it’s bad mistakes from 1 player that cost them the game.
avatar
Solid af, great passing and anticipation. Very impressive by his performance.
avatar
The only toxic fan I'm seeing here is you. Imagine being so furious and childish when it's not even your club losing...

Real football fans thank you for getting rid of Q$G.

Really good game so far

Great performance today

Mbappe in his pocket

Kvara deserves 85, Kim should be 83+ and Meret should have less potential
avatar
and Rui should have better overall

ok boomen 90/90, 5* international rep as a meme
avatar
This squad needs a refresh man. Bench— goretzka, mane, Davies Sell— gnabry, pavard Buy —Laimer, kolo muani, CB, RW, CM, Cancelo Hopefully one of Wanner, ibrahimovic, or tel explodes and can save us money
avatar
the potential downgrade comes from the fact that he got changed to a position where the overall is calculated differently. if he gets to 84 as a RB and you convert him to CB, he’ll be 86. look on the „real overall” table.
avatar
Blancão 🇧🇷 84/88

I'd love to see him as the long term Neuer replacement at Bayern.

Benjamin Blanc sounds awesome tbh
avatar
78/89 but this is definitely more accurate than Scarpa’s rating and most players from the Brazilian league.

Wednesday Update: - A contract extension for Brazzo is just a formality. Bayern president Herbert Hainer has said in an interview with "Sky" that talks will be held once the transfer window is over. According to Bild a new contract until 2026 could be announced during the next supervisory board meeting - Nagelsmann wants to bring a more constant tactical scheme. He views that the many tactical changes from game to game have harmed the success. A 4-2-2-2 which can switch ingame into a 3-5-2 seems the desired option. Instead of switching the formation Nagelsmann views his tactical options in his variable personel - Manuel Neuer could be in doubt for Fridays match against Frankfurt. He missed todays training with a gastrointestinal upset. Sven Ulreich would be the back up option - Mathys Tel has been officially registered. According to "Bild" Bayerns latest signing has been registered and will be able to play against Frankfurt - Bayern stars don't really see a need for Laimer. It's no secret that Nagelsmann would love to sign Laimer. However according to "Sport Bild" Bayerns players view a transfer in this summer unnecessery. The newly appointed Gravenberch and Marcel Sabitzer have convinced during the pre season and since Goretzka is also an option once fit - Mathijs de Ligt has resolved his fitness issues and could be a starting option for the game against Frankfurt. Against Leipzig de Ligt wasn't fully fit for 90 minutes, hence he wasn't in the starting lineup - Adrian Fein will have no future in Munich. The midfielder was close to join MLS side LAFC but the transfer did fail. He is not in Nagelsmanns plans and both club and player search for a fast solution to transfer him
avatar
Neuer Muller Kimmich Goretzka Coman probably I think it’s too early to give the arm band to mane or de ligt
avatar
Lucas is a beast. Such a clever and resourceful defender
avatar
when pavard slid tackles you know he is going to hit nothing but the opponent
avatar
Today, Saturday and Sunday there will be no Updates as i'm currently on vacation in Munich and it's not possible to gather all the news. See you on Monday, hopefully with good news

Wednesday Update: - According to Oliver Kahn the topic of a Ronaldo transfer has been discussed heavily in the club. Ultimately they came to the conclusion that he isn't fitting Bayern philosophy - Former Bayern player Sandro Wagner is not convinced that Bayerns new signings can compensate the loss of Lewy. He says the signings have the potential to prove him wrong but it will depend on how Nagelsmanns system will work without a real number 9 - Done Deal! Sarpreet Singh has extended his contract until 2024 and will again join Jahn Regensburg on loan until 2023 - According to "Sport Bild" Bayern has used a specially, for Bayern made computer program to find there transfer targets. If you type in a player you want to replace it gives you players who fit a certain profile along with calculated transfer and wage fees - According to Alfredo Martinez from "Onda Cero" Barca hasn't registered both Lewy and Raphinha for LaLiga yet. Apparently the club still has to sell their top earners or reduce the salary massively to register both players - The main reason for Mathys Tel choosing Bayern is Julian Nagelsmann and his assistants. Nagelsmann has told tell a clear vision of how he wants him to fit within the team and what he has to offer him. Also assistant Toppmöller is speaking french which Tel thinks will be a big factor in his improvement
avatar
Tuesday Update: - Clement Gavard from "So Foot" said that Tel is a similar player type than Mbappe. He is faster and stronger than Mbappe was at his age, but lacks technical ability compared to 17 year old Mbappe - According to "Ara" Bayern is interested in Raul de Tomas from Espanyol. The spanish striker is seen as an alternative to Kane next summer, if the the latter is too expensive or does not want to join - Done Deal! The transfer of Barcelona LB talent Adam Aznou is official. The LB will sign a contract until2025 with an option for one more year. He is currently planned to play in the youth squads and the longterm plan is to slowly integrate him in the first squad to back up Davies - Leon Goretzka has started his rehab training after his operation. Although everything went well so far, his injury wil probably see him sidelined until mid september - Done Deal! It's official that Tel is now a player of Bayern Munich. Tel himself leaked his contract length of 3 years until 2025 on instagram. However many german and french sources have stated the contract will automatically get extended to 2027 once he turns 18. He has decided to wear the number 39 and therefore turned down the number 9 - Tottenham is apparently trying to convince Kane to extend his contract. It is seen as a reaction to the Bayern rumours
avatar
Monday Update: - In an interview with "Sport1" Pavard has been asked about his future at Bayern, to which he stated that he "does not know" if theres a future at Bayern for him. Nagelsmann would like to keep as a back up for both the CB and RB positions. With Pavard wanting a leading role at Bayern that could become a problem. According to "L'Equipe" Juventus Turin, Atletico Madrid, FC Chelsea and Manchester United are interested but theres no offers made yet - Mazraoui hasn't really looked in form during both friendlies and in training. Nagelsmann could therefore see Pavard man the RB position for the Supercup game against Leipzig - Mathys Tel has landed in Munich today to complete the medical and sign the contract. An official announcement could be happening later today or tomorrow - With Goretzka missing the start of the season Gravenberch is eager to use his chance and show what he can do. In an interview with "Kicker" he has stated his goal is to be a starter as fast as possible. He is sorry for Goretzkas injury, but he will try and use this opportunity to make his claim - Sadio Mane is Bayerns number 1 kit seller. Bayern marketing manager Andreas Jung stated that the fans love him already and are buying his kits like crazy - In an interview with "Sport1" Hernandez made his targets clear, "theres no excuses, we want all titles". He is happy about the transfer window so far and thinks that the departure of Robert Lewandowski wont affect the team as much as some may think. He is also very impressed with Sadio Mane, calling the new Bayern player a down to earth superstar - According to "Sky"-journalist Florian Plettenberg Bayern is still working intensively on a Laimer deal. After the done Tel deal the boards full focus lies on Konrad Laimer. All parties want the matter solved before the clubs matchup in the supercup. Leizip demand 30M with Bayerns last offer of 23M being rejected
avatar
As long as he gets playing time
avatar
Sunday Update: - Bayern lost the second US friendly to City 0:1. From Bayerns side it wasn't really a good game but it still saw youngsters like Stanisic, Nianzou, Wanner and Vidovic getting valuabel minute against a City side who played there strongest players with 2 exceptions - Conte is disapproving the comments from Bayern coach Nagelsmann and board member Oliver Kahn towards Harry Kane. He stated that he thinks it's disrispectful to talk about players from different teams. Since all the comments towards Kane have been just answered interview questions praising his skill it shouldn't cause the drama Conte is implying - According to "Bild", Tel will inherit the number 9 from Robert Lewandowski. Currently Tel has cost Bayern the 5th most for a u17 player behind 4th Jadon Sancho (20,59M), 3rd Pietro Pellegri (20,9M), 2nd Alexandre Pato (24M) and 1st Jude Bellingham (25M). If all bonusses will be achieved he will be the number 1 with 28,5M - Nagelsmann has called Sabitzer the best player of the pre season. For him the austrian has been not only training well but amongst the best on the pitch too. A transfer of Sabitzer this summer is looking more and more unlikely, which is also because of the stalling transfer talks with Leipzig over Laimer
avatar
He was okay, one of the few press resistant players. At the end of the game, he lacked concentration on two occasions. Not his best game, but solid
avatar
Saturday Update: - Nagelsmann would like to keep Pavard. He stated that he can't influence the players decision, but he views him as a crucial part to the next season - Hans-Joachim Watze has stated that he isn't surprised by Bayern latest signings and that he says that they have to prove themselfs first. The Dortmund director has also stated that he thinks Bayern still isn't done with transfers - Sasa Kalajdzic would like a transfer to Bayern this summer. Even though Bayern is more likely just getting Tel and nothing else for the offensive, the croatian still has hope. For him theres no better timing then now, sine Bayern is lacking a real number 9 after Lewys departure - In an interview Nagelsmann once again spoke about Harry Kane. He would welcome a transfer of the english international and thinks he is one of the strikers in ther world. However he is still aware that a transfer will be hard to complete since he is valued heavily by Tottenham - Done Deal! Mathys Tel will join Bayern this summer. According to "Sky", "Sport1" and "Bild" Bayern will pay 20M + 8,5M in bonusses for the 17 year old. He will sign a 5 year deal which will be announced in the next days
avatar
No one on this page has watched more than a YouTube clip on him. The same Bayern scouts who saw Davies, musiala, Bellingham(we didn’t take a risk on him), Wanner rate him. It’s a huge risk but I trust the board. We lost out on dembele(when he moved to Dortmund) and Bellingham due to not wanting to take the risk. I trust the board.

Thursday Update: - Our team won their first match of the US tour. They won 6:2 against MLS side D.C. United. The game saw the debut goals of de Ligt and Mane and also featured the youngsters Copado, Vidovic, Herold and Wanner. De Ligt was subbed out during the game because of fatigue as he was dealing with jetlag - Pavard could be leaving the club this summer. Because of the de Ligt and Mazraoui transfers the frenchman sees his minutes dropping. Lewandowski agent Zahavi has offered to help Pavard get in touch with other clubs and look for options. Juventus Turin, Atletico Madrid, FC Chelsea and Manchester United are all interested, but Pavard is also still open to stay in Munich - Leipzig has declined Bayerns second offer for Konrad Laimer. Bayern was offering 23M + bonusses. The talks are still going with Leipzig still wanting 30M - Nagelsmann has praised Sabitzer. He stated that he is one of the best players this pre season. He has had a good match against D.C. and has convinced the coach during training. A transfer is not ruled out, but with Sabitzer wanting to stay and his performances getting better it rather looks like he's staying at least this summer - Sadio Mane is africas footballer of the year. He's gotten more votes than the 2nd placed Mo Salah and 3rd placed Edouard Mendy - Done Deal: Barca talent Adam Aznou will be joining Bayern. The 16 year old LB is planned for Bayern U17 squad - Hertha is interested in signing Zirkzee. Herthas sporting director Bobic is a big fan of the dutch striker. To finance the deal they'd have to sell either Krzysztof Piatek or Davie Selke. Bayern wants around 10-15M - The Bayern board is very happy with Brazzos recent work. The fact he's gotten good deals while both selling and buying players have impressed Herbert Hainer. Brazzos contract will be running out 2023 but all signs point to a extension in the near future
avatar
Wednesday Update: - With the current personel the biggest question is the formation for next season. Three systems are in Nagelsmanns mind, which will be switched around depending on form, opponent and available players. The 4-2-2-2, the 4-3-3 and the 3-5-2 - Sasa Kalajdzic could become an option for Bayern again. Currently Bayern is working with Rennes for a Tel deal, but if the deal should not be completed Kalajdzic could be the back up plan - Tanguy Nianzou should get more playing time. The board wants him to get more playing time in the upcoming season. since the CB position is stacked a loan deal is discussed. Rennes and Nizza are interested in the player - Done Deal! Chris Richards will leave Bayern and join Crystal Palace. The transfer fee will be around 15-20M with 35% of the sum going to Dallas, according to Florian Plettenberg - The transfer plans of a back up LB seem to have faded. Nagelsmann is currently looking for an internal solution. Stanisic is discussed but Nagelsmann could also see Wanner take a LWB/DLM role in a 352
avatar
"still not convinced" don't make me laugh 😂. In the CL season 19/20 we beat every team, scored the most goals and gave direct competitors like Spurs, Chelsea and Barca a swatter that they won't forget in 10 years. Bayern was never a one-man show, our team always acts together and together, otherwise we wouldn't have managed two triple seasons, that's why we'll be successful even without Lewandowski, everyone knew that one day he wouldn't play for us anyway.
avatar
He is very underrated imo. He is def our best defender atm, should be 86-87 rating for sure.
avatar
and what do the balls do exactly mate?
avatar
give him a minute, he's figuring it out
avatar
Coman is so good defensively I wouldn’t be surprised if he could do a phonzie tbh. Don’t be worried about him as a wing back
avatar
Right now I'd say Lucas is better, but de Ligt has higher ceiling. They'll complement each other perfectly.
avatar
Plus he played there at a time in which the refs gave penalties for pretty much every hand contact
avatar
I don't see it as a waste. We need someone to depend on when Davies needs rest, is injured or else. Last season we had huge problems when Davies was injured. O. Richards wasn't good enough hence Sabitzer of all people had minutes as LB. As this year will be very demanding with all competitions and the WC rotation is key to keep players fresh and healthy. Raum would be a perfect fit as he brings everything we need and has the class to play on the highest level. I mean how many times did Bayern have troubles in the CL due to injuries and not having the squad depth to compensate them... way too often
avatar
Monday Update: - David Raum is Bayerns top target for the LB back up position. Hoffenheim wants around 30-40M which is too much for Bayern. A swap deal involving Chris Richards + 15-25M for Raum could be a possibility as Richards is up for sale and Hoffenheim very interested in him - In a interview with "Bild" Lewy said why he wanted to go to Barca. Apparently he was searching for a new challenge in LaLiga, after spending so much time in the Buli. His family wanted to live somewhere else aswell - Goretzka told "Bild" he thinks Bayerns current squad is world class and can cover up for the losses of Lewy and Süle without too much trouble. Still he'd prefer if Bayern get's acitve and buy a classic 9 - Matthijs de Ligt to Bayern is a done deal. Bayern will pay 70M + 10M in bonusses. He will earn around 17-19M per year. He undergoes his medical today and signs the contract in Munich, after that he'll join the others on the US trip - The de Ligt deal could see Bayern sell one of their CB. Since there's too many CBs in the current squad Bayern will listen to offers for every CB except Hernandez and de Ligt according to Florian Plettenberg - According to "El Pais" the Lewy deal could cost Barca up to 60M. 45M is the base sum with additional 15M in bonusses - According to the "tz" Nagelsmann is planning to utilise a 3-5-2 system. Serge Gnabry and Sadio Mane are planned as the main attacking duo. The many offensive options will allow for much rotation and different tactics suited against every type of defense - According to "Sky" Bayern have submitted there first offer to Leipzig for Laimer. Bayern is offering 22M + 2M bonusses for the defensive midfielder. Leipzig wants 30M and has declined the first offer - The team was prepared for the Lewy depature and are glad that the transfer is now done and every party has got their will - Leon Goretzka has undergone a surgery in his left knee. Loose Cartilage has been removed and he will be out 6-8 weeks. He will not travel to the US and will miss the DFL Supercup and the season openers
avatar
First half of last season was a good one for Sane on the left wing. But the second half wasn’t as good. He has to get more consistency in his game, just like Gnabry.
avatar
Thanks. Atm i have a lot ot spare time as im close to my Bachelor studies. I'm close to a few Reporters of Bild, Süddeutsche and Transfermarkt i try to bring you much news as i can
avatar
Is possible. Nagelsmann loves to play with a positianless fluent front. Out offensive set up will be very unpreparable as all of our offensive options will be using evey weakness in the opposition
avatar
Comparing players at ages is not dumb. It's absolutely logical. Comparing a 22 yo guy to older defenders would be dumb. Comparing 22 yo van Dijk and 22 yo de Ligt absolutely makes sense.
avatar
You’ve seen him play in his Groningen-days then? Never was set out to be a world class defender, not even in his first year in Southampton. Sheer determination and graft got the job done for VVD. De Ligt will follow and is set out to be one of the worlds best.
avatar
Sunday Update: - Bayern wants to make a new bid for Tel. The latest offer of 22M has been too low for Rennes. Bayern is not backing down and wants the deal done and an offer of up to 30M inlcuding bonusses is being prepared according to "L'Equipe" - Nagelsmann wants a LB back up to Davies. Two names are in closer discussions. Raum and Sosa seem to be Nagelsmanns and the boards desired options. Raum would cost between 25-30M while Sosa would cost 20M according to various sources - Bayern is preparing a new improved offer for Matthijs de Ligt. The offer will be submitted next week - After the Lewy departure Bayern wants to use the money to improve there squad. Currently the transfers of Laimer, Tel and de Ligt are prioritised. If theres still enough budget after those deals the back up LB spot will be discussed, otherwise the current defensive personell has to fill the gap - Yesterday Bayerns reserves had their first league match against VfB Eichstätt. Hyun-ju Lees brace and Lucas Copados goal and 2 assists guided our reserves to a impressive 4:0 win. I know it should've been in yesterdays update but it honestly got lost between the many news yesterday
avatar
good work keep it up. The Game from our 2 team was fairly late so no problem
avatar
Lewy is definitely a legend.
avatar
Saturday Update: - Bayern submitted their first offer for Konrad Laimer - Bayern is still considering a potential Ronaldo transfer. Although theres still executives who have no interest in bringing him to Munich, theres more and more people who want him here - Lewy is officially joining Barca. Bayern did verbally agree to the latest offer - With the Lewy transfer done Bayern is now pushing for the de ligt signing. An agreement with Juve is on it's way - Gnabry has officially signed a new contract until 2026. He'll earn around 15M which puts him on a level with Alphonso Davies - Nagelsmann is apparently happy with the offensive options currently at the club. Even if no additional striker is signed he sees no problems for next season
avatar
Mathys Tel, de Ligt, Laimer, and a back up LB. A few more players might be sold or loaned out, and I think thats a solid 9.5/10 window for us.
