DeVrij had a pretty brilliant end to the season, and he was also great early on for long periods. He made a few high profile mistakes, but judging his season as a whole, I would say he was a bit unlucky that it fell in the big moments. Bastoni suffered a few times containing his opponents this year, and at times he was even straight up benched by DiMarco. We also seemed to suffer more with DeVrij out than with Bastoni out. I love Basto on the team, but our two most important defenders are Skriniar and DeVrij.
