White is competent in Saliba's role, and we have Timber and Tomiyasu that can play RB in the event White is filling in for Saliba. Our defence is stacked - just needs to be rotated more. Gabriel, Saliba, White, Tomi, Timber, Zini, Kiwior. Tomiyasu and Timber were virtually unavailable for the season. We have other areas to strengthen first

Yeah this was an L post

Trossard has played terrible today

My odds: Chance of City win vs West Ham 90% Chance of Arsenal win vs Everton 80% Therefore probability of Arsenal winning league is 0.8 x 0.1 = 0.08 = 8%

He is not admitting he’s “wrong” and he doesn’t now “understand Spurs fans” lol, he’s simply admitting that he misread the situation and was wrong for thinking Spurs fans wouldn’t actively want them to lose. He still clearly disagrees with what the fans in the ground did “worst experience as a manager”. Come on guys, you got what you wanted and fair play Arsenal aren’t winning shit but let’s not be spreading around a misleading one and a half sentence quote to make yourselves feel better about your manager digging you out.

Even your own manager called you shameless lol

This irrelevant club is already more than 2 years ahead of its club and next season may be no different
avatar
ST/LW , CM/DM , CB/LB 3 minimum + Raya permanent and Ramsdale replacement. (5)

It’s quite ironic that Liverpool conceded two goals from Duran Duran because that band are based in Birmingham just like Aston Villa are.

Oh Ange ain't gonna do that mate, he got principles mate, gotta follow them till the end mate.

There is a chance Bruno could leave, but imo it won't happen unless someone trigger the 100mil clause. I can't see Bruno leaving for 80mil unless he's trying to force a move, but he's not that kind of character and he genuinely loves the club. So for this summer; 100mil or he's staying for sure. As for who's more likely to leave this summer between Isak/Bruno then it's very simple for me. Isak have no release clause and he joined this project 18 months after Bruno.G. Isak is also 2 years younger and might not be in hurry to join a UCL team because Newcastle might be title contenders in two years time when he's 26y. Arsenal,PSG; City& Barca fans are all talking about these two players, I'm not surprised because it's two unique players. One important factor in all of this is where Newcastle finish in the table. A season in Europa league will likely be enough to convince them to stay, but no Europe next season and then I think club will have to convince the duo to stay for another season at least
avatar
This is Nellis worst season. Let’s not forget all the times he has cooked right backs in the league before this season. Trent is literally owned by Martinelli for example.
avatar
Did you watch the same game? He dictated the entire game for PSG. They don’t create nearly enough chances as they do without him. Best player on the pitch for them yesterday. Putting him next to Rice at the 8 spot immediately improves us.
avatar
Wolves not in amazing form. Fulham not in amazing form. West Ham out of form. Tottenham effectively have given up in the race for top 4. I hate to be a pessimist but I think the title race is over. I can’t see City dropping any points at all. On top of that, we’ve still got to beat an in-form Bournemouth, a United team where nobody knows what version of them will show up against us and an Everton team with superpowers because of Dyche’s new tracksuit.
avatar
Emery really hates us with passion. Can’t defend against olympiakos but turns into prime inter with mourinho against us
avatar
Oh god, I'm gonna be a father soon, can't be prone to having a heart attack like that lol
avatar
Typical Saka only showing up against small teams
avatar
This Martinelli head down thing is purely an aesthetic criticism. He doesn’t lack vision, he’s not a one trick pony, he constantly cuts inside to lay balls off and always knows where his man is. If your entire criticism is just “I wish Martinelli looked like Gordon when he dribbled,” it’s incredibly stupid. They’re very, very different players and Martinelli is easily the better finisher. Like I said, this is extremely reactionary. But I see you won’t change your mind so whatever.

I don't think anyone here will say yes. Market for #6 & #8 is heavily inflated. Guys like Onana gets a £70m price tag. Lavia £50mil, Caicedo £115m, Enzo £110m, Ugarte £60m, even a average one like Gallagher with a expiring contract would cost £50m. My point is, why sell our best player when we couldn't replace him with a quality midfielder who'd cost under £60m. I'm hoping that nobody triggers that release clause. Bruno is a unique player who's top In all phases of the play, he's arguably the most complete player itw right now but we aren't able to see it because he's our No.6. £100m in this market won't help us bring in the quality to replace someone like Bruno, it'll only help us balance the books

I’m doing well myself thanks for asking, my siblings seem to be dealing with it well enough too. I’ll find out about my mother and the rest of the family soon enough, I’m flying over to Poland tomorrow for the funeral. I hope she’s as well as she can be.
avatar
slight difference, coach is to do with, well, coaching how you set up your team, tactics, structure etc etc manager is that and everything else

especially with their playstyle / press style, it’s our kryptonite

Nah man

got news that my grandma passed this morning part of me is relieved for her since all I’ve been hearing is how much pain she was in for a good couple months hospital was even being negligent and letting her sit in A&E for 9 hours - national healthcare in Poland sucks evidently, they ended up getting her in private healthcare. funnily enough I still don’t know her cause of death, nor does my mother who’s flown there and back endlessly. either that or she’s being purposefully vague. I’m worried for her too. she’s lost both her parents in the space of 2 years. I feel like I have the responsibility to look out for her now, as soon as I reached adulthood. but I’ll manage, it’s the least I could do. felt like I couldn’t vent any of this to anyone else so may as well do it here, though even now I’m putting my own feelings to the side

Coming from a Benfica fan. In physical capacity, he is very similar to Kanté. Like the frenchman he's a small octopus that can be everywhere on the field and is able to run back and forth the entire game. He is short but is able to win most of the physical duels he has with other players. He has an abnormal ability to jump and duel in the air. He can jump higher than players much taller than him. When he started playing, opponents tried to put balls in the air to his zone because they thought their players were going to win the duels and João Neves almost always won. On the ball, what I highlight most about him is his ability to hold it. It's really difficult to take the ball away from him because he has a very good balance and uses his body a lot to hide the ball from the opponents. There are several times when it looks like he's going to lose the ball, but he puts his body in front of the opponent's foot and hides the ball. It seems that he can bury his feet in the ground and there is nothing that will throw him off balance. He's very good at carrying the ball. He can get past several opponents and travel several meters with it. One thing he's also good at but still has to gain more confidence to do it more often is his long passing ability. Every time he tries, he makes incredible passes (Go see his pass in Benfica's third goal against Salzburg in this season's UCL). Once he gains that confidence, he'll become a pretty complete player. He also needs to gain the confidence to shoot more often. I think he only has 4 goals for Benfica since he made his debut. But he has a decent shooting ability. If he gains more confidence to shoot, because he has opportunities to do so, he can also become a player who scores close to 10 goals per season. Despite him being young he is really consistent. I can't remember a game this season in which he played badly. There were games where he was less good, but I don't remember a game where he was bad. One thing that proves that he is a really good player is the fact that he is practically unanimous among Benfica's rivals. Neither João Félix nor Enzo had the respect of the rivals that Neves has. All the fans of the rivals say that they would love to have him in their team and some even say that he should be a starter for Portugal in the Euro. That's the best analysis I can make to the player. For me, judging by his performances at Benfica, he is the best player the club's academy has produced. Bernardo is, of course, the greatest player Benfica's academy has produced, but João Neves was the best academy product I've ever seen playing exclusively for Benfica's first team.

Fair enough. Muric might be a good pick up, performed better than Trafford imo. Also played under Mikel at City. Homegrown too.

upgrade for what?
avatar
nothing we should praise him for what he is - a great impact player
avatar
Leo Trossard is this guy currently, his best work comes in and around the box - great ball striker, very good improvisation just doesn’t possess any of the transitional qualities you’d attribute to a game breaking attacker

Hjulmand would be a good option if Jorginho leaves https://s3a.sofifa.net/19fd618147bd7dd3b7ee7a006e51b05bbd73c335.jpg

Valeu demais, meu mano!

I need to share with you guys that I just got a promotion at work and found out I'm gonna be a father at the same week (AND IT'S ONLY MONDAY). Man, life couldn't be better! Hope my little gooner will be born in the same year we win the League, that would just be the icing on the cake Oh, and last week was my birthday, I'm really a lucky guy lol
avatar
We would also have lost the title if Gabriel got injured and his replacement was Holding, though

why tf is a romanian supporting man city LMFAOOO

Villa rotating half the side against City. United fielding a Championship level back 4 against Liverpool. Just our luck.

Someone’s in love with Trossard

Arsenal have an incredible tight unit in defence and if they win the title it’ll be because of that. It’s like the early 2000s when they had that famous backline.

The atmosphere at the Emirates tonight was probably the flattest I’ve heard all season. Not much noise there. Pre-2020 vibes.

the Baguette jinx I know who you are

I just thought it was ironic that you laughed and focused on the fact isak is injury prone when osimhen is 500x more injury prone

Ramsdale- Chelsea or Newcastle. Tierney- Brentford, maybe Everton if they stay up or Fulham if Robinson is sold. Tavares- upper-mid table Serie A side. Atalanta would be a good fit but they don’t need him. I could see Torino. ESR and Nelson- I would like to see them back in the Bundesliga but the clubs you named fit. Villa’s back in for ESR as well. Nketiah- Bournemouth or Palace, anywhere that asks their forwards to press and be a physical presence. Lokonga- Brighton, Girona, Stuttgart or Fiorentina. Maybe Monaco or Villa if Fofana or Luiz leave.
avatar
I want to play it humble, and rather not say about it but the truth is that most of the hate for arsenal is uncalled for. I believe that the idea that, a team like us, who for the past decade, was called a "banter" club, yet suddenly become so good again terrifies rival fans. Like we win, they hate us because we celebrate, we draw against city, they said we are pussies that don't dare to win, and we lose, they laugh because we are bad. And whenever we brings this arsenal agenda to the table, they will dismiss it by saying our fans are annoying, like lets be real, all top 6 fanbases are annoying. Whatever outcome, we still remains a "banter" club to their eyes, unable to accept the fact that we have become surprisingly good. For us, if we win a title or an ucl trophy in the next few years, it will be the final stamp on the hate.

Thank God Jesus is returning to help Kiwior
