People are praising him now and acting like his career was ruined before when he has always been good. In england he didnt get a chance just like gnabry didn't and the times few times he played was in a shit formation and ppl expected him to pull a bruno fernandes or a de bruyne... then When he was back at Bundesliga he was good everytime he played, but he just wouldn't play over Thiago or goretzka all the time. I even remember one pre season game bayern vs milan and i think milan won at the end but sanches freaking dominated the shit out of milan midfield, milan tried to buy sanches after that but Bayern rejected.
What im trying to say is that his career was never dead or anything like that, he has always been good and shown talent. He just didnt get chances.

Yet it's perfectly fine for young EPL players who have a couple of cameos and an international friendly to have the same potential.
Besides how early you get you debut or gain your experience doesn't directly indicate how talented you are.
Just look at Foden, immensly talented and deserve his potential since he is that talented (imo) but his experience is very little due to the steep competition.
