After playing in the Argentinian Superclasico at La Bombonera, Daniele De Rossi decided that he needed to get back to Europe and eventually back to the Roma club that he so loved.
Luckily the opportunity to be a mere 1.5 hour flight away in Zurich presented itself. Historically one the blue bloods of Swiss football, they had been relegated in 2017 and bounced back to finish 4th in 2018 before struggling in 2019. They had a good young core and an opportunity to achieve more with the right mentality and the right manager. Enter Coach Futuro.
Final record: 31 wins, 6 draws, 2 losses (110 goals, 33 conceded). Won the league on the final day with 99 points to Basel's 97. Won the Schweizer Pokal over FC Scion.
