Such club like this deserves better and that's why the owners have an ambitious project going on , and to fulfill that they have hired the Portuguese coach João Silva to be able to get them to where they want to be in 5 years - Premier League.
The path won't be easy and the board knows that so they are doing everything they can to strengthen our squad .. signings like Aron Gunnarsson who played for Cardiff in the PL and for Iceland in the Euros and World Cup , Pitaluga who's a GK with loads of potential , former Coventry player Jodi Jones , loaning Diogo Monteiro from Leeds and Sam Curtis who's one of the best prospects in the Irish football and also players like Dan Gosling who had decent PL campaigns with Bournemouth and Yuito Suzuki who was a bench player at Denmark side Brondby !
Keeping players like Matt Palmer , David McGoldrick , Kyle Cameron and Macauley Langstaff was also crucial since they are key players in our locker room.
In this season our main objective is to try atleast to win our first games in the EFL Cup and FA Cup and of course try to gain promotion to the League One !
