1 hour left of Deadline day in July 2022, Barcelona paid Fekir release clause $130m. I have brought up a cam from youth academy, 62 rated with 84-89 pot to split time with Vitinha. Might look for good replacement. Any suggestions?

Currently in january of season 2. Sitting in 5th after a good run of form. We have brought in cordoba from atletico (10 goals and top 5 for golden boot), but at the same time lost alcacer, vitolo, and Herrera, as all three said they lacked playing time. I should be fine with the two forwards I have to finish out the season. I also signed castillejo on a free contract from Milan for next season. Lastly I brought doria in from the Mexican league (was an objective), which I then swapped for Joaquin who moved to Fulham. Demarcos is retiring at the end of the season so I think I will try and bring odriozola in to battle with sergi roberto. I also grabbed Aouchiche from ASSE to convert to cam as I loan out Vitinha. I will try and get rid of Felipe & replace him with Jorge Mere. Will see how Manafa finishes the season out, could look to replace him with Sergio Gomez form BVB. Lastly might look into Fabio Silva or Borja Mayoral as 3rd option ST. Interested in Jorge Rodriguez from de la plata.

Update* Had a big day on transfer deadline day, January 2023. Getafe mad a bid of $22m for Borja Iglesias (7 goals in la liga) and we accepted that offer. I then brought in Santi Mina, who had joined Marseille at the beginning of the season, for $25m. Then Real Sociedad sent an offer for Guido Rodriguez of $28m. We accepted that and brought in Jorge Rodrgiuez from Independiente de la plata for $12m. Lastly, we swapped Felipe with Koln's Jorge Mere (75) and sent Rodri out on loan to Marseille. We currently have Raul Garcia (73), Akouokou (73) and Rodri (76) loaned out. We will try and implement them into the first team once they're back.

We have just recently played Barcelona (2-2) D, Real Sociedad (2-1) W, and Atletico Madrid (1-3) L, and we have to play Villareal in 3 weeks. I am hoping to at least hold onto Europa League football for next season. In the Champions League, we somehow finished at the top of our group (Betis - 15, Chelsea - 12, Marseille - 11, CSKA - 0). In the Round of 16 we played Benfica and won 4-2 on aggregate. We then played Ajax in the quarter finals and won 3-2 on aggregate (1-0 second leg thanks to a mistake from Onana). We have played the first leg of the semifinals vs PSG and were smashed 5-1. Not looking too good for the second leg lol.

Castillejo is 76 and will be used sparingly as he was brought in on a free contract. I am open to selling D. Lainez (76) as he just never felt right. I also have a few other fringe players that I need to either implement into the first team or sell. Rodri (76) is on loan with Marseille til January, Akouokou is back from his 1 year loan with Valencia (75), R. Garcia spent 2 years with Porto and is up to 75 overall. Lastly, I might look into bringing back some of our previous players, possibly Ruibal to add to our attack and possibly Bellerin instead of Odriozola.

Inter have just paid Canales release clause ($150m) and I have decided to let him leave. I will use Aouchiche & Morientes to fill the CAM position and we'll go from there.

After Canales release clause was met, Villareal paid Rui Silva release of $75m. I replaced him with a 31 year old 82 rated Pacheco for $25m. We sold Diego Lainez to Valencia for $28m. Lastly, we received an offer for Joaquin from Osasuna for $35m, I decided to let him go and we will let hermoso get some more game time. Might even bring Edgar back in. He’s 26 and 78 rated. We brought in Odriozola from Real Madrid for $24m. Inter wanted $45-$65m for bellerin. We received an offer for Manafa from Leeds, so I am currently looking into Lato from Valencia & Pedraza, who has been in France playing at Lille for the last 2 seasons. Will also look into Alex Balde from Barcelona as well as Oscar Mingueza, who has been playing at Rennes for the last year. He could come in and battle with Hermoso/Ferro and we would send Mere out on loan.

UPDATE: For our Champions' League group we have been placed into Group D: PSG, Betis, Atalanta, & Spartak Moscow. We won our opening game 3-1 vs Moscow. Before the transfer window closed, we made a few more changes. I found Dries Mertens regen in the free agents list. A 20-year-old 88 rated cf. I decided to sign him and then swap him with Balde from Barcelona as I felt he would be a good fit for them. I also signed Ayoze Perez and Capa from the free agents before swapping them with YA plaers from Osasuna and Real Sociedad. Lastly, I did a straight swap of Odriozola for Bellerin and brought him back to the club on a 4-year deal. I might sell Jorge Mere and possibly Hermoso ( I received an offer from Las Palmas on deadline day) as they are both 25ish and 74 & 70 rated. I could use either younger with higher potential or more established CB's. This season has started off great for us and after 4 games we have 3 wins and a 2-2 draw with Real Madrid. Pacheco has been great for us, and I have been implementing both Morientes and Moreno and they are doing great. Lastly both Mina and Iglesias are scoring goals for fun, which is exactly what I needed. Might look into loaning Raul Garcia out as I have a YA player who is 17 yo , 68 rated, and has a potential of 90+
