Glad that the parade has been canceled. As much as Klopp deserves a statue and a proper goodbye, it was too good to be true. We made our expectations high based on what looked like a 10/10 season, but lets not forget this is the first rebuild season of the team, and we have not been always on fire even before the collapse. Top 4 and Carabao won in mad circumstances is a solid foundation. We have played well only in 30 % of time in the 2020s, lets hope that similarly to 2010s, the second part of the decade is more successful than the first...

cant lie Madrid fans complaining about city is pretty funny its like the pot calling the kettle black
avatar
Just because a team is a rival, doesn't mean that I hate them. My love of the beautiful game will always come before any traditional rivalries. I respect clubs like Everton and United for having such passionate fans and rich history. It makes me happy to see them lose, but, I don't understand people that genuinely get emotional at the idea of people supporting one of those clubs. I dislike Manchester City. Their fans are plastic, their history (bar their first two PL wins) is boring and they've cheated their way to the top. They're lucky to play such beautiful football under Pep Guardiola, and every now and then they produce a nice kit, but what else is there to like and respect?
avatar
Idk how to explain it but I “hate” Manchester United more than City while at the same time I respect this club more than Man City. As an example: I would rather see Man City win a title or win a derby against us than seeing Man United win a title or win a derby against us. But still I respect Manchester United as a club with its history and fanbase more than Manchester City.

I'm Doing a Poll Participate if you want. Which team do you hate more rivalry wise or in general Upvote: Manchester United Downvote: Manchester city

Hey Norman, how are you mate? I hope you're doing ''good'' and have some distraction with your friends, family, hobby's, school and/or work for example. If you ever want to talk with me I'm here for you (and you know I broke up with my ex too about 4 months ago, although the situation was different. So maybe I can give you some advice for example. Just know what you're worth and you'll grow massivly (yes I know these are not the things you want to hear right now (I didn't back then) but believe me you will notice these things in a matter of time. Live your life, and if that takes time that's perfectly fine! Hopefully we soon will have many discussions about who to sign and which formation Slot should use next season once the season is over. Take care mate😜❤️
avatar
Yes, you are the only one.
avatar
Want him to sign new deal. If not then we should cash out no matter how big of a legend to our club he is. Love him our best player since Suarez want him to sign new deal and retire at the club, but deffinetly don't want him to leave for free.
avatar
Would look at Koopmeiners first before him. We need a developed DM.
avatar
Yes understand the frustrations and how the season is ending, however we have a new manger in waiting who suits our style of play and Edwards at the top has an even bigger say in how we conduct our business. Sure there are things to address with the current squad, but, and this is a highly positive one we have the people in the right places to go and do it. Lastly, the standard of the team compared to when Klopp took over is completely different, it's miles better now. We had players like; Mignolet, Bogdán, a 35 year old Kolo Touré, a past it Škrtel, average Sakho, headless Alberto Moreno, lightweight Joe Allen, often injured Lallana + even more so Sturridge, a slow Lucas Leiva, a Emre Can who didn't like the work in midfield, Ings who had one ACL then immediately the other ACL, and never good at LFC Benteke. The only ones worth keeping where: Joe Gomez, Milner, Hendo, and up and coming Coutinho with Bobby Firmino, then Lovren who was ok. Now in comparison after going though the list it's about 16+ players worth holding on to. Arne Slot inherits a team far further down the road in competitiveness, also a modern training ground and an upgraded Anfield.

I get this, I celebrated when you guys bottled the 2019 title, so I get it
avatar
just cume to liverpool bro we don't have racists
avatar
Well at least now they can’t say they’re racists because Vini provokes them.. alteti was playing vs inter and alteti fans were calling vini monkey outside their stadium lmao.. Nico is one of the nicest kids around and he is a Spanish international.. it is time for Spain to acknowledge the fact that the country has a racism problem and the sooner they acknowledge this problem the faster theyll fix it..
avatar
Arsenal fans are more annoying so i don't want them to win anything
avatar
Alisson is a better shot stopper than Vicario
avatar
Hughes has done a brilliant job by sacking Neil and appointing Iraola. Im confident he along with edwards will get our appointment right as well. Most of his signings are perfoming as well. Cant wait for us to get back to our ways of recruiting smartly instead of going for overhyped one season wonders.
avatar
Nah Arsenal fans will be unbearable, and none cares if city wins another title.
avatar
want to hear more mad stats? LFC have lost less league games than arsenal this season 💀💀💀
avatar
Fuck no i rather City win it
avatar
The attack is wildly out of form or injured all at the same time, it's not broken and in need of major fixing, they don't need to be purged and nor will they be. They key area that needs fixing is at CB, if the last few weeks have shown us anything it should be that we're feeling the loss of Matip more than we're acknowledging. We really need a solid option for CB that is also fit enough and experienced enough to step in and step up when required and doesn't need babysitting from Van Dijk like Quansah and Konaté do.
avatar
Conceded the first goal in 15 league games in this season and only kept a clean sheet in one of the last 15 league games (and that was vs Nottingham Forest). No wonder their title fight fizzled out - they can't constantly rely on last minute winners.
avatar
Well I mean he could've been sacked so not really

Still trying to find a difference between the Jones tackle and red card vs Spurs and what Paqueta did to Mac Allister today.
avatar
Relax klopp's gone in the summer and salah will follow him. They're both done here. Lets appreciate what they gave us all these years.
avatar
You’re not getting used to win ucls, your poor record speak for itself : only won 0 ucl league won.
avatar
Just out of curiosity since quite a few of you previously said different how many of you actually think Nunez is shit and won't ever improve and how many of you think he's got the talent but are just pissed off with him and lashing out cause of his donkey moments? Upvote if you think he's got talent but is just in poor form and confidence Downvote if you think he's shit and will never be good
avatar
Bayer Leverkusen are just next level…
avatar
From how Slot uses the '10' Szboz is exactly the profile that fits, usually his '10' rotates with all the front 4 tbf. Stengs used to be RW innit. Plus I think his press could be extremely useful there.
avatar
maybe slot takes him with himself to liverpool?
avatar
https://x.com/TheAnfieldTalk/status/1783878697503642057 What did i tell you guys. I was the only one to suggest Amorim wasnt the preffered choice because of his refusal to drop the 343 here. Looks like i was right again. Agree with the clubs decision never wanted that 343 shite here it just doesnt fit the club.
avatar
to all the people moaning about Slot: shut up. If you have concerns, fine, if you have a specific thought, fine, write it down, lets discuss it. But lets just stop with the "trash dont want him" without any substance whatsoever. Out of the arguments such as ETH comparisons or the Eredivisie card, him being bald is the only real issue we are dealing with. There are very good arguments why he should be a good fit. The squad is talented but still needs another season to deal with any setbacks and finish the rebuild. Exciting seasons ahead
avatar
I can see this or something similar to this happening; Hughes will get us Dan Neil from Sunderland, we'll all bitch, moan and complain about it and then he'll turn out to be perfect for the role. I imagine most arguments will be about how certain players we get linked with aren't good enough but we aren't going to be buying established players that are the best in their position we're back to buying potential, underrated and undervalued players from unfashionable clubs.

Arne Slot first signing !!? 🤭🤭🤭
avatar
Closest thing to a Suarez regen.
avatar
Why tf would they downgrade tho?😭😭😭😭
avatar
it changes after every game
avatar
25 ish is when we brought in players like Salah, Mane, Van Dijk etc and over those next few years they became some of the best in the world, he's got time and talent even if people want to act like he doesn't cause of the recent performances (which the whole team has been contributing to, not just him) so personally I think everyone should wait until we see a functioning team before judging who gets binned off so quickly
avatar
Hopefully Spurs beat Arsenal on Sunday for the bants
avatar
Massive respect for Arne slot, man really said yeah i want to go to liverpool with his chest not like the pussy xabi "Oooh im not ready" shove your fancy haircut up your bum you spanish hipster time for the baldy to show whos boss.
avatar
If Liverpool were to sell Salah and if Mbappe goes to Real Madriid, they should sign him. Baller
avatar
Have some respect. Jeez. They weren’t that bad. Balotelli had his moments
avatar
Thanks i will make every scouser cum in their pants with the famous Slotball
avatar
Its funny of you asking this when i guarantee not one user here has watched all 4 managers' teams enough. I trust Edwards and Hughes judgement if they say slot>amorim>de zerbi>potter that's what i say too.
avatar
Apparently he's ill.
avatar
Life was so good when we were in the timeline of Xabi Alonso to manage us. Reminder to tell your family you love them, it’s gonna be rough for a while…
avatar
Gg guys!
avatar
Missed the game due to family commitments but caught highlights and glad we won with some nice finishes. Let’s win the next two games away at Everton and West Ham and maintain the pressure at the top and then see what the table is looking like before we play our final three games against Spurs, Villa, and Wolves. Hopefully City and Arsenal will drop points somewhere in that time frame. I have a feeling we’ll know if we can win the title by the time we play against Spurs.

Butterfly effect lol. Also Klopp's like 56 or something, he's made good money, made good relationships as well lol. Tbh If I had to live with the pressure of our whole clubs fanbase, the jeers of rivals and the media since 2015. I'd feel emotionally drained and want time to be a human being again. Lowkey Klopp leaving is a rare good advocate for prioritising mental health over financial gain. All in all he's really done his best, last bit of the Ketchup now lmao

Arsenal fans talking about European competitions. Awks
